Working with Moreno Roofing was a pleasure. Paul gave a straightforward and honest estimate. We had three layers of shingles needing removal, lots of dry rot and termite damage needing replacement, as well as new rain gutters installed. This was our first experience getting a new roof put on and we were so happy we chose Moreno Roofing. From the beginning, Paul was very responsive and helpful in answering all of our questions. His crew was made up of an equally conscientious and professional group of guys who showed up every morning at a punctual 8am, ready to start the day. Not only were they friendly, but they were also very good about communicating what would be done each day and checked in with us before making repairs or when cosmetic issues came up. We also have an open beam, vaulted ceiling in the living room and they were careful to cover all furniture and carpet with plastic to help protect it from any dust or small debris that may had fallen through the cracks. They did the same in the garage. At the end of each day, the crew was careful to clean up the perimeter of the worksite and took extra care in checking for fallen nails. Considering the amount of work needed, they completed the job in four days which was impressive. We've already received a lot of compliments from neighbors for a job well done. Quality, efficiency and friendliness stood out with Moreno Roofing. We look forward to the rainy season!

We had noticed stains on a corner ceiling from the rains this past winter. Obviously we had a leak somewhere on the roof. There were a handful of roofing companies on Yelp but Moreno Roofing stood out. I couldn't find ONE negative word about them and their reviews were stellar. When I called them to have someone come out, the receptionist was very polite and helpful. I was told the owner of the company, Paul, would come out to give me an estimate. Paul was very friendly and knowledgeable; I was told I would promptly receive an email about the job. I actually didn't make an appointment for them to come out until a little bit later but as soon as I called back, I was scheduled very soon afterwards. The workers came on my scheduled day on time. They worked hard for approximately 5/6 hours and the job was completed. They were kind, hard-working, and did a terrific job. I'm very confident we'll be nice and dry when the rains come during winter months. I have them on my phone for any and all future roof issues. Thank you to Paul and his team!

I chose Moreno Roofing over many others I interviews for its great reputation and they didn't disappoint. Paul, his staff and excellent crew are just really good people and easy to work with. Wonderful communication with Lucia, organized and helpful. Very happy with my roof. My roof was a mess and they repaired a lot of dry rot and had to put in new fascia boards, which they did for a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

What I like about this company is it is just the right size. You have the opportunity to deal directly with the owner Paul Moreno yet he has enough of a crew to get things done. Paul went out of his way for me and I'll be calling back when I need a new roof. And did I tell you he's honest?

My fiancé and I are purchasing our first home and needed a quote for some repairs/maintenance for the roof. We were struggling to find someone to come out to the property to review the condition and provide an expert opinion and quote. We found Moreno roofing on Yelp and were impressed by the ratings and comments of excellent service and work. We submitted a quote request and Paul got back to us within the hour. He was so flexible and responsive which was amazing. He came out the very next day and provided a thorough review of the condition of the roof and we had a quote that evening. Paul even followed up with us providing suggestions on ways to keep rodents out of the few open areas. Great company to work with so far and I definitely recommend them!

I went with a competitor and I'm writing a five-star review for Moreno Roofing!

I first spoke with Paul Moreno over a year ago when I was considering a home purchase in Watsonville. His company provided a bid for the seller and I was given a copy. I had some questions regarding solar and some materials in the bid. Paul explained everything and even spoke with me about the community and the local schools since I was considering a teaching position in the school district. Paul and members of his family went to the school I now teach at so I can say Paul is a fine judge of a school some 25+ years after he attended! His staff at his office were professional and helpful when I went down to pick out a color and warranty for a new roof.

Unfortunately, I had to use a specific solar company to maintain the warranty on the six-year old existing panels so I could not use Moreno Roofing.

I text Paul recently regarding the bid my ""required"" roofing contractor and a question about additional ""discovered"" shingle layers which now have increased the job by $1600. I felt I was over a barrel and wanted to know from Paul if this sounded fishy. I wanted to know if he could give me some free advice. He didn't hesitate. He told me based on the contract language, ""one detectable roof layer"", I am responsible for the extra cost but he did say that the bidder could have checked the job better. Paul said his company bids the job simply with, ""remove all existing roof shingle layers"". That's clean language and the right way to do it. You get the full bid with no surprises.

I'm confident my roofing contractor with do a proper job but I would have rather gone with Moreno. He'll get the job for the ADU were building in the next year or so.

I am so happy I found this roofing company. So many wouldn't even talk to me because I only needed a few slipped roof tiles put back into place. I contacted Moreno Roofing through Yelp and got a response very quickly. I called the office to set up an appointment and that too was a pleasure. I was told it would be around three weeks, which was just fine, but got a call a few days later saying they had an opening which I took. The guys arrived right on time and fixed the slipped tiles in very quick fashion. They were so sweet and did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Moreno Roofing.
