I had Moran Roofing put a new roof and add more insulation to my house approx 10 years ago. I was very happy then and even happier now 10 years later. Every summer my interior of the house was incredibly hot and remained way too hot into the evening with the air cond going. I couldn't figure out why until I had an electrician here to install a ceiling fan and I told him how hot this house was. He said he knew why. He took me out front and said look at your air vents under the attic eaves, there's insulation blocking the vents so no cool evening air can get in and the hot afternoon air cannot escape. I called Moran Roofing who installed my roof & insulation and explained it. They came out to San Jose again, their employee couldn't have been nicer, wore his mask the whole time and used a leaf blower - blew the insulation back away from the 7 vents. Right after that we had 109 degree heat for several days but my house was very comfortable. What a difference!! A big THANK YOU TO BRETT MORAN for making me a happy customer again. My sister is a Realtor in the East Bay and used Moran Roofing for her house. I'm so glad for the recommendation. Thank you again Brett!

The price was right, but:
1. They left too many old nails around the house and today one went with through my sneaker and sent me to the doctor for a tetanus shot.
2. I wish they had shown me the difference between the grades of roofing material as the just-below premier grade looks pretty thin and is easily scrubbed off by a boot when cleaning the solar panels.
3. They sent 4 guys to rip off the old roof but only one to put the new roof on. How good can the work be when only one person is doing all the work on a roof on a hot sunny day?
4. I expected someone to come by for a final walk-over/inspection - - -, but they just cleaned up (except for those nails) and left.

Moran Roofing removed and replaced my roof, did all the dry rot repairs and did a great cleanup. The roof looks great and it will last for a very long time. Robert was very professional and good to work with. They started within a week from signing the contract and finished about a week later. The price was right too.

I am very pleased with my experience with Moran Roofing.
They removed my old roof, repaired dry rot and installed the new roof in a matter of a few days. When the city inspector came and saw who had done the roof he said he knew it was done properly because that's how Moran operates, which made me feel even better about using Moran!
Their employees are very conscientious, polite and hard workers. The areas around my house were swept and cleaned daily before they left.
And Sandie, their office manager, goes above and beyond to get any issues resolved!!! Her customer service skills are excellent!
I highly recommend Moran Roofing for all your roofing needs.

I rate this company a big fat ZERO! I called for an estimate and their employee Rob E. came out he then mailed my estimate and pamphlets a week later with price options. I did compare pricing with others companies I called Moran Roofing I left a message with another employee to have R.E. return my call leaving my phone number to go over my estimate, not sure he received my message. I then sent an email twice to Rob to contact me to review pamphlets and options with my address and phone number. I finally received an email back he would call ""later that day"", I never received a call. I rate this company a big fat ZERO! Irresponsible they won't get back with you maybe it's their way of saying not worth their time if they are not going to make the big BUCKS out of you!! THUMBS DOWN!

Moran Roofing did the work on the roofs in our association. Come to find out only a few years after the roof was put on that they left a big hole which exposed my attic to allow in any kind of critter. Also when they did the work on the roof workers were sloppy, left a big mess in my yard. Nice to have to have a patch job done after spending good sum of money for a new roof.

Would not have any work done by Moran Roofing Company.
