Had a heavy leak in my roof. My roof was very old, so I was afraid if I didn't get it fixed right away, is have more leaks. When I called Montgomery Roof, Jody was very professional, patient and knowledgeable and assured me they would take care of the leak. Turns out there were several other leaks happening and I needed a new roof, which I knew would probably be the case. Jody walked me through the process and provided me a quote. I was pleasantly surprised with the price and her knowledge so I went ahead and signed the contract. The scheduling process went smooth and had a new roof I am happy with. I would highly recommend Montgomery Roof to anyone. Jody and staff very knowlegable and professional.

We used Montgomery Roof two years ago this month. We paid them over $1000. for a roof leak repair. We haven't had any significant rain since then so we didn't realize it wasn't repaired correctly. In the middle of this last storm our roof began to leak in the exact same spot. When we called Jody at Montgomery Roofing, she said their work wasn't covered for that length of time, rain or no rain. So beware if you have work done by them. If possible, make sure you test their work to make sure it's repaired properly. We are contacting a different company to fix their work.

Also, they said they only warranty a new roof for three years.

We had a roof leak around our skylight and had them out to fix it. Went with them based on the prior review who said they guarantee their work. The guy that showed up was real nice, did what we thought was a good job and at a fair price. That was back in Feb. We had not had any rain until Oct when it was still leaking. Called them up to see if they guaranteed their work and was told they DO NOT. Especially since it was ""only a 300 dollar job."" Was also told by the lady on the phone that it had been too long and there was no way to determine what had happened in between then and now. Despite this being the FIRST rain since the ""repair"" had been done, and it leaking in the exact same place as before. She did say that they would send someone out to see if it was a simple fix. Nobody ever showed up.

I had them come out to repair my flat roof for a good price. The repair lasted 1 winter then my roof started leaking again. So I called them again next year for another repair. A person came out and talked to my wife and gave her a price of about 50% more than we paid the previous year. She told him she had to talk to her husband. We called them back about 1-2 weeks later for the repair and the lady on the phone was rude tone of voice and told us that the price they gave us when the person came out was only valid right when the guy was out here. The new price is 15% more if we wanted them to come out, (we live in Antioch so it's not like it's a far drive from their office to justify the price hike). The man never told my wife that the price he was giving her was only for right then and there.

Montgomery Roof did our roof and it turned out beautifully. I mean who wants to pay for a roof but if you have to, they are the company that I would select. We had several bids and theirs was very competitively priced. They are a family run business so I like that and they guarantee the work. The workers were there to start the job at the date & time that was promised. They cleaned up every day that they were here. They could have waited until the end of the job and I told them that but they cleaned up and swept the mess every day. They finished the job quickly and on time just as they said. Finally, a company that does what they say. I would recommend them to anyone for a new roof.

The communication and customer service is lacking big time! The woman I dealt with was less than helpful, lacking clear communication and rude when I asked for clarity. In addition, as a landlord, I asked if it was possible to be sent photos of the finished job, which apparently, in this day and age of camera's on every phone, was too much to ask.
The roofer I spoke with on the other hand, was pleasant, my experience would have been much better had he been the only one I had to deal with.

On Saturday it rained and my roof was leaking into my house. Ughh. I called around and Mr. Montgomery came out on Sunday.

He looked it over and wrote out a complete and detailed estimate. He came out again on Monday and during the tear out he showed me where the original contractor had used inferior flashing (18 inch valley) and had additionally used flashing that had been cut back 3 inches and notched for a non existent roof stack; the other contractor decided to save $20 and used an inferior and used product.

Mr. Montgomery used superior materials in the repair, he did the work himself and he did it right.
