I needed an estimate for a real estate client and since Shane had previously done work for the sellers I called him. He answered the ohone immediately and got me the estimate the next day and it was very reasonable. Now we'll have to see if the sellers are willing to help with the cost.

This company replaced our roof 4 years ago now. We discovered multiple leaks and damage due to poor and improper installation, and now almost 5 weeks into trying to reach the owner for resolution under our contract and warranty. We have had the foreman out confirming the error of installation, work that should have been completed but was not and the damage it is causing. Also the owner is aware of many roofs just like mine in this same condition. The owner however is only wanting to fix 3 active leaks only. Please do not fall for this owner or his warranty because he does not stand up to his word!

Shane and the team at Monarch Roofing recently re-did my roof. Pre-installation, Shane was very helpful in assessing the existing roof, providing photos, walking through my options, and helping select the appropriate roof. He was patient and understanding, even bringing by a shingle book for my wife and I to review on a Saturday. The installation was a great experience - the crew showed up on time, worked non-stop through a Houston summer hot Thursday and Friday, sent photos once complete, and left the job site clean and free of nails or debris. The roof also comes with a warranty. The pricing was fair and transparent. Would recommend to friends and family!

I first met Shane about five years ago to get a bid on a new roof when another contractor told me that it was critical that I get a new roof now. Shane got up on my roof personally and informed me that I still had a few areas on the roof that needed repair, but it was still in good shape and had could wait a few years to replace the entire roof. That was good news as it allowed me to plan for the expense of the new roof in the future. When the time came to replace the roof, Shane and his team did an awesome job. They were very professional and took great care with moving my patio furniture and plants to complete their work. I highly recommend Monarch Roofing!

This company will write a so-so 'contract' and then change orders over and over again until you've spent twice as much as discussed. They do not provide the change orders in writing!! We learned the hard way. We have had to spend $6000 to repair the roof installed 2 years ago by this company. The roof that was supposed to cost $8500....came in at about $19,000 and has so many problems that the insurance company wouldn't renew our homeowners policy. The owner Shane Schlemeyer is just a broker and a smooth talker, but don't be fooled. He is not a roofer. He doesn't even go on the roof. He just hires subs. Can I leave MINUS 5 STARS?

When we bought the home, it actually had two layers of roofing. Not good. Fortunately we found Monarch Roofing. I don't believe they were the cheapest bid but my husband and I felt very comfortable working with Shane and the products he offered. Fast forward nearly six years after install, Shane personally came to do a roof check, ensuring all was in order at no cost! Talk about standing by your work and product. Dependable. Competent. Business must be good - I called for a free estimate and was denied. The owner was unhelpful, unsympathetic to my roofing repair needs and offered no help whatsoever. The best word I can use to sum up my experience with Monarch is ""shocking"".
