First off, I would like to say that I rarely post reviews but feel I had to do this because of the wonderful job that Ivan and his team did. I called Ivan and he came out to inspect our roof and unfortunately, our roof was in pretty bad shape (something as a homeowner you dread hearing). Despite the bad news, Ivan provided several options that included replacing our roof in two stages, keeping cost in mind. Not only did this give me what I needed to make an informed decision, but it really showed me how much Ivan stood out from other roofing companies I got quotes from. His knowledge and empathy really sealed the deal for me and his quotes were very reasonable. I ended up deciding to do my entire roof with Ivan and his team and have no regrets.

Ivan informed me that after obtaining the necessary permits, he would be able to have my entire roof replaced in four days. But his team finished a day earlier than expected, which was wonderful news! During the three days of work, Ivan texted for any decisions I needed to make and also sent me pictures to show his team's progress. This was a nice touch to keep me well informed. At the end of each day, his team cleaned up making sure there was no debris or hazards around my house. The city inspector came during and after the roof was completed to ensure things were done properly and up to code.

Overall, I am very happy with Ivan and his team and the great job they did. We have had two storms and high winds since completing the new roof and no leaks whatsoever. I do have to mention that during the high winds, one of our wood panels in the front of our house where the roof joins came off and shattered so the underlying wood in that area was exposed. I reached out to Ivan informing him and he had someone from his team come and nail in/secure a spare wood panel I had. This just goes to show how much Ivan cares about his customers and the jobs he completes. I highly recommend him and his team for any roofing needs you may have. You won't regret it.

Ivan was very reasonable and they did a great job. Very quick and effective. The inspector was able to sign off on it right away and did not have to come back. He provided me with photos for my records and answered my questions or concerns.

It was great working with Ivan and Chris on our Kensington home's low-slope modified bitumen re-roofing project. Ivan provided a very competitive quote, and was accommodating to schedule changes driven by Kensington's permitting office and our solar company Your Energy Solutions (YES Solar). Chris led the team during the three day installation, and was supportive when the solar mount installers drilled screws a bit too far in, and broke through our ceiling (we don't have an attic). Ivan and Chris are very responsive and communicative through text messages and email. It has been nice working with them, and I am recommending that our neighbors' request quotes from Modern Roofing for their future needs.
