What an absolute JOKE. Avoid Modern Roofing at all costs. Zero stars. Even if you eventually do get ahold of of Mike or someone, they will take weeks to follow up and will most certainly will drop the ball.

Hired these guys (at the suggestion of my realtor) for a roof inspection on a new home purchase. Mike came back with a small list of items to repair. Took two months to pin them down and actually schedule the repairs for completion. In the end, works was not completed properly. Pretty sure most of it was ignored.

Sure enough, the first decent rains while living in this house, water came pouring in through our living room ceiling. What the hell? Turns out they completely missed a HUGE section of old and deteriorated tar paper, that had led to disintegrated plywood layer underneath (over my living room).

This was such a terrible experience, I decided to bring in a reputable roofing company for a second opinion on overall condition of the roof. Turns out the entire roof needs to be redone. Now, thanks to Modern Roofing I have interior damage to ceiling and walls to contend with as well.

Thanks Modern Roofing. I want my money back. PO'd in Pacific Palisades.

My Company did work for this company. We supplied them with signage in the amount of $795.50
It has been 70 days. Contacted multiple times. Check is in the mail stc. then they just stopped pretending they were going to pay and just do not respond. We did a timely and professional job for them and this is how they operate. I would stay away from this company and I would tell your friends.

Far and away the best experience you can ask for if you ever need roofing work. Their work is quality, and FAST. (Great flashing and seal work) Mike is incredibly responsive and has earned my repeat business over the years as a rental owner in Los Angeles! I highly recommend them for fast, quality, no BS work. And they dont overcharge you!

Our ceiling had a leak in the middle of the night , I called the next morning and they came . Mike was very nice and thorough and fix the job right away he even sent pictures so that we can see what work he had done and to keep records! I would defiantly recommend them to anyone who need roof work!!!

Our roof was overdue for an overhaul. We checked with several friends who had done roof renovations and repairs, and kept hearing good things about the name Curt House with Modern Roofing. Curt was easy to touch base with, and we arranged for him to come over and do measurements and give us an estimate. The timing was perfect, and within 2 weeks our sturdy, good looking roof was completed. The workers were fast and efficient, and put everything perfectly in place in good time. Curt stayed on top of every aspect of the project, and saw us all the way through from estimate and seeing roofing samples to getting the permit and final inspection. I highly recommend Modern Roofing, and feel very fortunate that Curt House guided us from start to finish. Oh, they came in just under budget, too! Thank you!!!

Roger from Modern Roofing responded to my call and text in a matter of minutes. We had discovered a problem with our AC system after the roof work was done. He had his AC team, who were in route to the area respond. Daniel the AC specialist is an experienced problem solver with outstanding skills. He solved the roof and inside problem and with his assistant in record time, all with a positive, helpful professional attitude. Thanks Roger, Daniel and Modern Roofing.

Modern Roofing did a roofing project in 2013 for us with 15 year warranty $30,000 job. Endless problems... many leaks. They don't honor warranty don't answer phone, don't reply to messages left. Another scam roofing company... run from this one...

Simply getting an estimate turned into a nightmare. Salesperson asked for Tuesday; got tenant approval, then ""oh I need Thursday instead"". Move to Thursday. Shows up 45 minutes late. Tried to talk to a manager - no call back. If that's sales, tells you a little about the company. I have multiple rentals - I know who I will never use.

We called Mike at Modern Roofing due to a leak in our spanish style roof. He was able to come out the same day, showed us the problem, then fixed it for an extremely reasonable price. I would use him again any time, and recommend him without any reservation. He is the rare combination of very skilled, honest and fair!

Two years after Modern Roofing replaced our roof, we had a skylight leak. We called them for a quote to fix it. Instead, they sent out a technician who did the repair work and there was no charge! Highly recommend!
