Our roof was leaking and in need of full replacement. Victor worked with us and offered several options. He went out of his way to meet with us 3 times prior to signing the contract to provide various product samples in order for us to make the most informed decisions. We love our tile choice too. Eagle Brand Estate in Walnut Creek Blend matches our pavers perfectly giving the look of a custom finish.

Our new roof is absolutely gorgeous and exceeds our expectations by far!

First and foremost, the underlayment was our top priority. Modern Day Roofing installed a double layer of high quality peel and stick underlayment and guaranteed their work with an unprecedented 40 year warranty. That alone speaks volumes. Modern Day Roofing truly stands behind their work.

There were a few challenges to address, including existing uneven rafters which were trimmed perfectly and a sagging beam which was expertly lifted. They also entirely replaced our fascia boards to fully cover the rafters which were not fitted properly originally.

Our project was a ton of work. The Modern Day Roofing team is a hardworking group. They are extremely professional and especially friendly. We were highly impressed with their work ethic. Collectively they put in over 200 hours of work on our roof and it shows!

June of 2020 we were in escrow for our first home. When the inspector completed his inspection, he stated there were visible water marks on the rafters in the attic and recommended I hire a professional roofer to inspect further. I called Modern Day Roofing and they took it from there. I knew we were going to need a new roof but we wanted to see if the seller would pitch in on it with us to close the deal. Even after the inspector from Modern Day Roofing showed her pictures, she was in denial that the roof leaked. So the inspector used a water hose and poured water on the house to show the seller and myself where the water was coming in. She couldn't deny it at that point and agreed to half the cost of the roof replacement. Of course I hired Modern Day Roofing for the roof replacement and they did an amazing job. They demo'd 2 roofs. One that looked like it was installed using a skeleton 1×1 subframe over the original wood shingles from when the home was originally built in the 70's. These guys didn't skip a beat. They had all the equipment necessary to make quick work of the demo process. We went with Radiant Barrier OSB, Owens Corning Shingles and all new fascia board all the way around. They also added a couple extra vents to help with our socal heat. A week later a handful of inspections from the city inspectors and they were done. Super efficient, courteous, and amazing craftsmanship. These guys take pride in their work and they know a happy customer means more customers. I refer them to all my friends.
