Our roof looked like a patchwork quilt. It was over 30 years old (probably closer to 50), but they made it look brand new. They did great work with fair, and professional service. Jacob was fantastic.

We should all feel lucky enough to collaborate and work with such honest and hard working people as Jacob and Moctezuma Roofing.

The housing market is always very difficult, but especially so in the Bay Area. When looking for a house in my price range, there wasn't much available and the house I found needed some TLC to say the least. When the appraisal came back, the lender needed a roofing report completed by a licensed roofing professional. I called Jacob and asked his honest opinion. He went onto the roof and told me that some repair work was needed, but eventually a new roof is the best option. The roof report indicated what repairs were immediately necessary and he even showed me what material to get at the hardware store to do the job. The lender was happy with the report and the needed repairs were completed before closing. I literally was able to close on my new home because of Jacob!!!

Of course, after closing, I took his advice and moved forward with the new roof (just in time before the rain hits this year).

As usual, immaculate quality from these guys! They showed up every day on time and ready to work! They did the roof and garage in a week and that was with some major carpentry repair needed in some areas too!

I personally don't ever need to search for another roofing company because I already have the best!

I met with Emmanuel and felt compelled to update my review. I think sometimes you can have a bad day and his company certainly did. However, how a business responds to that is the true-test when not performing up to standard. He responded promptly to my concerns and acted accordingly. I learned that this is a veteran owned company with hard-working people.

No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. I really wanted to give this company a chance to rectify things and address my concerns. I appreciate that they responded promptly. I believe we should try to work with people and treat others like we want to be treated, and I am glad that I did. Some days the employees do not get it right. He addressed it to my satisfaction.

It takes a good business-person to make it right. We just have to do it. So if you are in Oakland or thereabouts, consider this company.

We recently had our entire roof redone by Moctezuma Roofing, and the experience was great. Emmanuel and Billy were easy to work with and very responsive. If you have any questions or concerns, they will get back to you right away.

My house was basically a sauna before they showed up. Billy suggested installing a couple of solar- powered roof attic fans. The difference is remarkable. Our home is now noticeably cooler and much more comfortable.

The crew was professional, always clean up at the end of the day. The quality of their work is evident in every detail of our new roof. They also offer the best warranty, which gives us great peace of mind.

Now my house is cooler, my roof looks great, and I couldn't be happier.

Emmanuel and Moctezuma roofing were great. They came out to give a no-cost estimate within 24 hours of being contacted.

They had plenty of recommendations and were very communicative and easy to deal with. The work, once scheduled was done quite fast and cleanly. We installed a west lake metal roof (pacific tile).

We had an issue with a supplier shorting them of some product and Emmanuel was super apologetic (again, not his fault) but communicated the issue with updates daily and completed work as soon as the product was delivered. Just treated us like human beings.

The caliber of work was fantastic and we've received numerous compliments (as well as just being super pleased ourselves)

Would recommended them to anyone looking for a good job done well.

Billy came out and assessed the situation, was honest and fair. He did not recommend unnecessary work. He even tracked down replacement tiles for our older roof. Would recommend!

Emmanuel and his team were awesome. My old Spanish tiles were broken & I had a leak, Emmanuel immediately found the problem, explained why it happened and how they'd fix it, which I totally appreciated. His team were amazingly adept at replacing the damaged part of my roof. They know their stuff! I was so relieved knowing I had professionals on the project. Reasonable, hard-working, efficient, polite and clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, and they are my go-to roofers from now on.

Moctezuma replaced our roof including remediating a lot of dry rot damage and adding several sky lights and sun tunnels. They did a great job. They protected the property from debris including our pool. They were courteous and cleaned up every day. They worked long hard days during the hottest days of the year. We love our new roof and especially the skylights and solar tubes.

Excellent craftsmen. I worked with Billy from quote to the final work. Everything we discussed and contracted on he delivered on. When he makes a promise he delivers on it. The end product was great. They seem to be certainteed pro too, one of a few roofers who knew how to install certainteed presidential shake TL. Thanks for a great job guys!
