MJ Roofing was referred to us by a friend. We were given a date and time for an estimate. When they did not show, we called the office who in tern called the contractor. What was most disturbing was that he said he was calling us to let us know he could not make the appointment. We asked why he did not call earlier and that we were the ones initiating the call, he said ""well, I'm calling now."" No ownership for the error. We made a second appointment, after waiting 30 minutes for him to show up, we called the office again. They said the manger was out at the moment, but she would relay the message. The same man called us back within minutes to let us know that he was just calling to let us know he could not make the appointed time. We told him that we initiated the call again to the office and asked why he did not call us earlier. He basically said this was not going to work out. Very unprofessional business practice, inability to accept responsibility, lack of honesty and integrity, poor first impression. This is a recipe for disaster in any business. Glad he did not show up as this is a company I would not want to do business with.
