Mike and his crew, led by a foreman, did the cedar siding on my 1904 house and repaired my electricity connections. They were on time and delivered what was expected. Mike was onsite daily to supervise even though he has some disabilities. I'd recommend them.

Please don't consider Rae S.' review of Michael Hayhurst. If you read her information, she writes how miserable she is....
Mike Hayhurst is a fine person and carpenter. He's done many projects for me over the last 10 years and I highly recommend his services.

Mike and his crew just finished up a bathroom update for us. The quality of the work was great and he always to time to answer any questions or concerns we had. We will definitely use them again.

We had great work done by Michael H, Abraham, and Walter: complete tear out and remodel of a bathroom. The small space is now ""a gem."" The team stayed in close touch and completed the work with as little disruption possible. Where we asked for things that were not in the original bid, they were up front about the options and costs. Reasonable price for such quality work. We'll be hiring them again.

Worst experience EVER! I highly do NOT recommend hiring this contractor.
Up front, he seems to act as an expert but in the end, he had no clue what he was doing! I hired him to do concrete work and he subcontracted a few men to do the job. When working with his men, they seemed to not understand each other (they spoke Spanish). How do you direct and supervise if you can't even understand each other? And at this point, I couldn't even withdraw the contract! (at least that is what he told me) Then I realized he stopped supervising and let his workers continue without him. The end result was a disaster! There were multiple violations, including the fact that this man is NOT even properly licensed in that category and the men he hired were NOT even licensed at all.
This was my first experience hiring a contractor and I never knew the CA Contractors Board existed. I'm definitely paying for it now, but definitely a good idea to know who exactly you are hiring before signing a contract.
I will never hire this contractor again nor do I recommend any one to do so.
