We had a few roofers look at the job and give us quotes. We didn't feel comfortable with the quotes as we felt we were being taken advantage of. I kept getting the feeling some of these folks see a nice home and white man, and they think we're made of money. I reached out to Mitchell Construction, and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable and had reasonable prices. First, he patched the roof so rain would not damage the contents of our shed. On Saturday of that same week, he replaced the roof on all three sheds. I recommend him; he is not a charlatan who takes advantage of people.

We had a tree limb break off in the ice storm and went straight through our roof. I called Alan on Friday and he said he could come by Sunday. He showed up on time, just like before, and fixed the hole in my roof in about an hour.
What an amazing guy he is. Fantastic work ethics and professionalism, and his pricing is very, very good. He is 100% completely honest on what needs done and what it will cost.

We moved forward with a new roof this year. I couldn't have asked for better service from Alan. Alan stuck to the initial price quoted. He stayed on the job to make sure that the workers completed the job properly. Then, after the roofers cleaned up, Alan spent over an hour doing a second round of cleaning. Alan cares about his work and it shows. I highly recommend Mitchell Construction, Inc.

I called several roofers, recommended by neighbors on Next Door. We were looking to""re-coat"" our flat, tar and gravel roof. We need a 5-6 year job, not a ""Lifetime roof"" or anywhere near that. Alan at Mitchell Construction spent a lot of time with me on the phone, learning about the job. Very nice, friendly guy who enjoys educating his customers. He said they do not do flat roofs. So he recommended a product we could apply ourselves (Gaco Roof, a roll-on silicone-based product -- $300/5 gal) and so we did! In the meantime, another company recommended by Next Door came and looked at the job; again we told them we just need a temporary fix. This roofing company did not send the quote for a week (after saying they would send it same day) and only sent it when I called to follow up. Not sure what the second company heard us say, but they sent a quote for a whole new roof (1,700 sq ft) to the tune of $20K! THANKS ALAN and Mitchell Construction!

I called to ask about getting gutters added to our metal roof, and even though they don't do gutters, they spent 10 min on the phone telling me what to look for, what to expect to pay per foot, and referred me to someone they've used in the past. Even though we don't need them for roofing now, I will definitely be keeping this number after excellent customer service like that - thanks Mitchell Construction for being good human beings!

This weekend I had to contact Mitchell Construction due to a leak in my roof. They had done the initial installation of the roof for the previous owners of our house, and was so impressed that they honored the warranty from that installation.

I was very impressed that I called him on a Sunday, and he not only answered the phone, but actually came out to inspect and affect repairs that afternoon.

Alan, and his wife, Michelle, were incredibly professional, courteous, efficient, and detailed. I have been in customer service for 27 years, and have high expectations with regards to the level of service I provide to my customers, and for the service that I receive. That said, I was very impressed with the service provided by Alan and Cheryl.

It is so hard to find honest, and competent contractors, and I consider myself so lucky to have found such professionals with this level of integrity and detail.

I intend on singing their praises to anyone I know for their construction needs!

Alan and his company are top notch. Excellent customer service, and excellent quality workmanship. They replaced my roof almost 10 years ago, and it's still in fantastic condition, according to my insurance company (USAA) who looked at it after a hail storm last year. Highly recommend Mitchell Construction if you need to replace your roof- I wouldn't go with anyone else these days.

He was a hoot and really cares about his wife... I like that! Alan and his crew are cut of a different cloth than the other 7 roofing companies I looked into. He is only one of 2 that correctly said I did not need a new roof. He is the only one that bothered to educate me on saving 20% on my homeowners insurance every year by knowing that I had an option to install a class IV rated roof. He won my business hands down. Alan answered his phone after hours last night and said he could be at my house in the morning to look for damage that could be causing a leak. He wasn't sure about getting up there considering the pitch of our roof. He sure scrambled up there and found a hole an caulked it. He was honest, super friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure I knew what to look out for in the future with my roof. I love to keep things local, so I am very happy to find someone to come out to Driftwood from Dripping Springs. He mainly does new roofs, but it was sure nice of him to come out on such short notice and figure out that there was a hole and do a quick fix.

We called this company to come take a look at our rook as we had sustained a couple of small leaks after recent heavy storms. They came out to look at the roof. As it turns out, they don't really do repairs, but just complete roof replacements. They were very honest. Did not try to tell us we needed a new roof just to up-sell us. The person who came out told us the leaks were likely from some flashing that had come up and they took the time to caulk the flashing and the nails and did not charge us for the work. They were very pleasant, professional and helpful. Will keep them in mind for when we do need the entire roof replaced. Thanks guys!
