We are going to be using Mills Roofing this Spring to install a new metal roof. Brad Mills took the time to have a lengthy conversation with my husband (prior to is buying a home that needs a new roof) and went into great detail regarding what type of roof we should replace our existing roof with and the reasons behind it. Mills helped us out during this epic snowy winter of January 2016. We noticed a leak around our wood stove chimney. Mills was able to come out on the first clear day after the storms and both diagnose and fix the problem. 2 weeks later, just spent a few nights at the house and no leak to be seen. They were very helpful and courteous from start to end. I'll definitely call them in the future for any maintenance and when we need a new roof in truckee.

The crew was very professional, and the foreman supervised them well. The roof turned out great. They used quality materials, and all the details were done right. We've had our new roof for almost a year now, and it still looks great.

We did have an issue with the seam in our gutter leaking, but they sent someone to fix it promptly

My home roof and garage roof are adjacent to each other. In a normal winter the snow would create an ice dam between the two and we'd have to watch for falling chunks of the ice - very dangerous. In December I got estimates from several contractors for roof modification or ice-melting devices. All estimates were upwards of $4,500.
Then Brad of Mills Roofing came out for an estimate. He spent the time to study the problem and came up with a clever solution that cost only $1,300. His workmen were there the next day and they did an excellent job. Ice dam gone!

Mills Roofing just completed a new comp roof at our cabin in Lake Tahoe. They called me back promptly, met me at the cabin to go over options and roof samples, provided a bid quickly and gave me a start date. They pulled the permit, had all the materials delivered and protected until they started and even had a porta potty delivered to the job site! Rain delayed the start date by a few days but they were in constant contact giving me updates. Once they started they were faced with daily rain showers and took the upmost care in protecting what they had torn off. Brad and Jeremy Mills are extremely professional, knowledgeable, dependable and provided top notch service. Their crew were friendly, courteous and left the job site clean and orderly at the end of each day. I would HIGHLY recommend Mills Roofing to anyone in need of a new roof or roof repair. I've used Mills roofing twice. Once to do a metal roof ""tune-up"" and the second to fix the roof and structure after a tree fell and hit the roof. They have always done an excellent job in the repairs.

What really set Mills apart from other contractor I've used is they understand how important customer service is. Those of you who have dealt with typical contractors know what I mean.

First, they call you back in a timely manner-no waiting for days/weeks or never getting a return call. Second, they have been up front about getting to my jobs. When I called for the ""tune-up"" Brad said they were swamped and it could be 3-4 month or maybe next season which I was fine with because honesty is refreshing. When the tree hit the roof, Brad was out the next day after the storm passed. Brad was able to meet with my insurance adjuster since this a vacation house and 3+ hours away.
