Mills Roofing cleared snow off our (second) home last winter when it was looking seriously overburdened. Gave a price, did what they said they would. Since we wanted to re-roof, we asked for an estimate for a metal roof. They explained it would probably be Spring of 2018. They contacted us when all the snow was melting in January and said they were trying to schedule some of the roofs if the weather held. We replied that we were quite open on the timing. They did the roof in a few days, cleaned up, took care of the permits and final inspection. It looks great.

We hired Mills Roofing and they did an excellent job on our house in Homewood. We just purchased our house, and the roof started leaking quite badly. Mills Roofing was responsive (thanks, Dawn) while other roofers would not return our calls. It turned out to be a substantial repair with potential for more problems in other areas, so we had Mills Roofing replace the entire SW facing area of the roof, ensuring the underlayment was done properly around the chimney where it was leaking (apparently there wasn't any underlayment around the chimney). The work started right away, and we were impressed with how courteous the workers were and how tidy they kept the area around the house. Jeremy, the project manager, stayed on the site and was informative, professional, and easy to work with.

Contacted Mills Roofing in April 2017 regarding some snow damage to roof tiles from winter snow. Brad responded to assess the damage and provided estimate. Brad advised due to the workload from snow damage in the area it would be a few months before he could get the job started/completed. I accepted the bid and Mills Roofing arrived in September and completed the job. The best part was he overestimated the job and came in well under the bid quoted. I must say, they could have done what was quoted, however the damage wasn't bad as thought and they did the repair that was required. Honesty pays off and I absolutely recommend Mills Roofing for any roofing needs.

Mills helped us out during this epic snowy winter of January 2016. We noticed a leak around our wood stove chimney. Mills was able to come out on the first clear day after the storms and both diagnose and fix the problem. 2 weeks later, just spent a few nights at the house and no leak to be seen. They were very helpful and courteous from start to end. I'll definitely call them in the future for any maintenance and when we need a new roof in truckee.

Mills installed a new composite roof and gutters. They gave us good advice when they came to bid the job, and showed up when they said they would

The crew was very professional, and the foreman supervised them well. The roof turned out great. They used quality materials, and all the details were done right. We've had our new roof for almost a year now, and it still looks great.

We did have an issue with the seam in our gutter leaking, but they sent someone to fix it promptly

My home roof and garage roof are adjacent to each other. In a normal winter the snow would create an ice dam between the two and we'd have to watch for falling chunks of the ice - very dangerous. In December I got estimates from several contractors for roof modification or ice-melting devices. All estimates were upwards of $4,500.
Then Brad of Mills Roofing came out for an estimate. He spent the time to study the problem and came up with a clever solution that cost only $1,300. His workmen were there the next day and they did an excellent job. Ice dam gone!
