First of all, I had a great experience with Bobby, the owner of this company. I read one or two negative comments about Millennium Roofing in Yelp but I can't understand how my experience with this company is the exact opposite. Myself and my husband are both very picky and detail-oriented. We believe Bobby is the best roofer in LA for many reasons. He used the most expensive double underlayment durable material for us. Second, Bobby's workers are very professional and polite. Third, my roof looks beautiful and I just love the way they designed the tiles. Next, the pricing Bobby gave me was lower than all the bids I received. Finally, my agreement with Bobby didn't include the flat roof. He waterproofed my flat root at no charge. I didn't even ask for it!

My house is in Santa Monica which has strict requirements for issuing construction permits. Without a valid state contractor's license and workers comp insurance they wouldn't issue a permit. Bobby pulled the permit for us last November.

I feel fortunate that we ended up hiring Bobby. The real test came after the heavy rains about 2 weeks ago. There was absolutely no leaks!

Stress! The biggest thing I was going through trying to find a good company to do my roof. After having multiple roofers come to my home, a friend of mine recommended Bobby to me. I gave him a call, he came out on a Sunday, the only day I was free that week, and took a look at my roof with me. He gave me multiple options and told me what he would do if it were his home. I really liked his ideas but I loved his price. The guys came in and were very professional as I was told they would be by my friend. They removed my old wood shake roof and installed plywood and he shingles. They cleaned up really nice every day after work and left my home looking like new when they were done. Highly recommend. I am currently suing this company for such a bad roof they completed in Stockton. There are other people that beat me to suing them and I can't even confirm their license is still valid. They agreed to make the repairs but in crooked fashion they haven't been returning my telephone calls or answering the telephone. Someone else already got to their bond for shotty work. These people are CROOKS!

My best advice to all homeowners and property owners: DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR. I am writing this review in the hopes that I can bring clarity to consumers who are considering hiring Millenium Roofing (Robert Carbajal is the owner/License # 861536). Our Condo Association entered into a contract with this vendor. He was paid a deposit and also paid for 50% of the job on the first day of work. These payments were stipulated in the contract. Ten hours after the work began, we found out that this contractor is working with a suspended contractor's license and without workers comp insurance. When we found this out, we asked the vendor to stop the work. He told us that he did not know that his license was suspended. He also asked for some time to put his business in order. We gave him several weeks to address these matters. We made it very clear that we could not hire a contractor working w/o a license and w/o workers comp insurance. He told us that it could take several weeks to get his license reinstated. Additionally, he asked us to sign a waiver form for the workers comp insurance. We refused and instead asked him to refund our money. He told us and our representative (our Property Management Co.) that he would give us a full refund. We waited a couple weeks and found that he was not refunding our money in a prompt manner. He also stopped responding to all of our inquiries and communication attempts. We are now working with a lawyer in attempt to get our money back from this contractor. We are also filing a formal complaint with the CA Contractors State License Board. In conclusion, the owner of this company is unethical and untrustworthy, and he is providing contracting services without a valid license under CA law. As of 08/13/2017, his license is still suspended.

I contracted Millennium for a commercial roofing job to put a cool roof on my business. Our utility bill went down the first month and we just had our first rain without any leaks, as promised. The customer service was of great and you don't see that anymore. The owner, Bobby was helpful and shared a lot of information about roofing and guided me to getting the best roof for my needs saving my money in my energy bills. I highly recommend Millennium Roofing.
