In my over 40 years as a homeowner, I have hired dozens of contractors. Mike McGilvary Roofing is the ""best of the best."" First, he was as reliable as clockwork - he and his people were here when they said they would be. His team members were polite, worked efficiently and responsive. We got plenty of pictures - before and after.

I was impressed that he didn't try to sell me on a new roof and assured me that the needed repairs would be more than sufficient; and his work carries a two year warranty.

The pricing was fair; again, he made no attempt to upsell. Quite refreshing - and much appreciated. He gets my highest recommendation.

We recently discovered a leak in our garage after Idalia passed through with heavy rain and wind from feeder bands, and suspected roof was leaking at roof flashing connecting garage to house.

A couple of our neighbors had recently had work done by Mike McGilvary Roofing and recommended them to us as they were very satisfied with the service Mike and his company provided.

I texted Mike that evening after talking with neighbors, and he came out the very next morning. Mike immediately diagnosed the issue and assured me they would be able to address the leak preventing any further water damage and saving us from major repairs or replacement.

We made an appointment for early the following week after his assessment with extremely fair pricing as well as explaining to me the process they would take to repair the area of roof where leak was apparent, as well as following up to ensure we were taken care of.

As promised Mike was in constant contact and made sure I was aware when crew was arriving and making sure I all my questions and concerns were answered and addressed. His crew arrived as promised on time and did AMAZING work!

Mike and his team are true professionals, courteous and perform quality work. I was amazed on how meticulous they were during the deconstruction and reassembling of damaged area ensuring leak was discovered and repaired properly. They took pictures before, during and after which Mike made available to me after completion. They also cleaned the entire area, and you couldn't even tell they were there.

Mike exuberates the 'Gold Standard' in customer care, which is also reflected in his crew(s).

We had a leak in our roof where some rain had rotted the wood over time. We only discovered it when we found a puddle in our kitchen. I spoke with Mike and sent him some photos of the visible part of the problem area and he gave me a quote based on those images. Mike sent a crew as soon as they were available. They removed the damaged shingles and rotted wood, installed new flashings and underlayment paper, sealed the deck and installed new shingles to the area. The work is under warranty for 2 years. The price was fair, especially given the urgency. I really appreciated quick response and expertise that got this repair done before even more rain could get into the house.
