Bob,at Midnight Oil helped me locate parts for a small project
Much appreciated thank you
Barbara S.Bob is absolutely terrific. He is always on time or early and professional. I called around for a couple of quotes for releveling on my 50-year-old mobile home. Bob's quote was one-tenth of the other quotes. He came out first to give me an estimate. When he came back to do the releveling, he told me first exactly what services he would be performing. He also gave me some information on some other issues he found (leak under bathroom, dryer lint trap not hooked up). He also gave me some referrals to some other professionals who he knew. I could not have asked for a more honest, thorough professional than Bob.
1) Came to give an estimate, and never went under the mobile home- you can't judge any leveling without checking the frame.
2) Tried to say the porch, being tilted by tree roots would affect the overall releveling- the porch isn't even attached to the home.
3) Tried to charge $160- just for cutting open the skirt.
When we pointed out there was already an opening in back; he left in a huff.
This guy wants to put in minimum effort, for maximum dollar. Tries to sound impressive with his 'hydraulic lift' - that's a car jack, every car jack uses hydraulics that you can pump with your hand.
I would give Bob a 10 if they would let me. I called Bob over there about leveling a mobile home but I was a bit out of his range for service. instead he gave me some solid advice that helped me way more. Thank you sir !
I called several companies to get my MH leveled: i just bought the place and I know basically nothing about MHs.
First quote was $1800, done over the phone; Bob's quote was 1/5 of that and he came to the house to do the estimate.
He took the time to answer all my questions and he showed up on time for all appointments.
The final cost was below the estimate + he fixed 2 issues he found while he was tightening the piers at no extra cost.
Based on my experience, i would highly recommend Midnight Oil.
Bob is on time and gives great service. He only charged us for what we needed. Honest and fair!!!
He explained in detail everything we needed to know.
Very professional and skilled I would highly recommend this company.
Sally D.Bob came out to check on an issue I had with my flooring. He came back at a later date and repaired it. On time and very reasonable.
Had Midnight Oil relevel and check underneath the house yesterday.
Extremely prompt service - on time and done well.
Thank you Bob - you now have a new, satisfied customer for life.
Received the reference card from my park manager and call this company several times for three days for my home repair, but it didn't answer and call back. It is basic way to respect a customer but this company is unable to keep, so how this company can keep its promise that can deliver a good quality work to its customers?
In March Bob & his associate came out & made a repair on our leaky expando roof. I gave them a good review then. In late October it leaked again! I called him and he stated they could stop by on Monday 11/5 ... since it was scheduled to rain on that day he & Skip came out 4 days earlier, which was nice, and saw a few little holes and applied some sealant caucking stuff. Unfortunately, didn't work either. I've called him a few times & he did leave me a message, He stated that every home seemed to have an Achilles heel! I have called him several times and still no reply. I know he is very busy but a nice call back would have been nice. This has been very stressful and I ended up having to call another mobile home service company and their work wasn't great either! Sorry Bob, I didn't want to do this, but, I felt I had to since my roof still leaks! He made several comments to me .... I could drill a hole in the ceiling & put in a straw for the leak to come thru !! This is not the Bob I remember. Take care.
