Top notch company, I had a shingle roof installed this May 2024. From estimate to shingles on the roof and finished was 21/2 weeks. I watched the workers work the entire time. They were so good at what they do. It didn't go without some issues though. I inspected the roof and chalked a couple of nails exposed and a small wear pattern on some of the shingles where the ladder was and all the workers came up and down in the same spot. This is not to complaint , because there are FAR worse companies that have much worse issues when they are done. I only say this because of their reaction to it. They immediately took ownership of the issue and fixed the issues very well. Their price was also below 2 of my estimates and above the lowest estimate. I will absolutely use this company again if I need another. Very eager to please their customers and never made an excuse when they did something wrong.

I contacted Mid-Coast Roofing within the days following Hurricane Ian. Jim Keffer, the Owner, was quick to respond despite being flooded with calls from others needing their services. Jim and his team came to my house, got up on the roof, tarped areas missed by another company and began the process to replace my roof. They got it done. They got it done right and it looks beautiful! We had no problems with Mid-Coast Roofing and would use them again and again and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for roof inspection/repair/roof replacement done by a dependable, responsive and quality company.

I had Mid-Coast Roofing put a new roof on our house after seeing how they performed at a respected neighbor's home. That was now about six months ago. And a hurricane Ian ago too. The roof performed perfectly.

I have a contractor doing soffits security from raccoons today. He is up looking around the various overhangs on my multi-level type roof. He has been nothing but complimentary of what he is seeing on the roof itself; indicating he is impressed by whoever had done my roof. One of his comments stood out...""you can tell how solid this company is because they even did a good job in areas that the homeowner can't visibly see.""

I have recommended them to another neighbor who was worried about how soon they might get something done. My wife said they were already over measuring at that house last week.

We had 5 companies come out to evaluate, give estimates and explain what materials they used and how they would put on a new roof. Mid-Coast Roofing used materials we liked, explained everything well and gave us a feeling of trust. You learn a lot about roofing materials. Strength of tiles and underlayment. Florida requires a Rubberized roofing underlayment that seals around nails and forms another layer to protect your roof from wind and rain damaging your roof.

The bring out materials and use lifts to put them on the roof the working day before they start the roof.
Day 1- starting at 7:30 am arrival, there we're 9 people covering bushes, the air conditioner and other structures before starting. Then, they started removing the old shingles and old roofing underlayment. They were finished by 10:30 and started putting on the new rubberized roofing underlayment. They even put shingles on the back side of the roof leaving the front so it could be inspected. They finished day 1 around 1pm.
Day 2- was waiting for the inspection on the day 1 work. The Inspector gave from 8am-5pm to do the inspection but, luckily, came by lunch. Shortly after the inspector sent the contractor a successful inspection report, the team was back to finish the front shingles, for the supervisor to do a final check and they cleaned up. They even used a leaf blower to blow the shingle dust out of our screened room.
Day 3-Final Inspection and Wind Mitigation Inspection.

We were extremely happy with the job Mid-Coast Roofing did. They were fast, efficient and very nice. They cleaned up and even though I've walked around the house, I haven't seen a single nail in the yard. Thanks to Bill Hawkins who gave us the estimate and wonderful information. Thanks, also, to Mario the Supervisor (Super Mario) and all the hardworking guys that did the job. Well done!!

I can't believe there aren't 100 5-star reviews on here! After issues with a few other roofing companies, we went with Mid-Coast Roofing because of their responsiveness & professionalism. We are so glad we did as they did a fantastic job - they were on schedule, on budget, & left the job site clean. They were an all around pleasure to work with.

I am so grateful to have selected Mid-Coast Roofing on 2 separate occasions. On both occasions Brenda set up appointments for Bill to see what the cause of my problem(s). Bill shows up on time and figures out the problem, showing me photos he took while on the roof. He also went into my attic to see if there was any water damage there. I was given a firm price at the end of his visit and an appointment was set to do the repair. I then received an e-mail from the head of the crew confirming the date that they would be there, along with his cell number in case there was a problem. The quality of the work was fantastic and the problem solved beyond my expectations.
This is a company that you MUST consider contacting if you are having any kind of roofing issue. The peace of mind knowing that you are dealing with a company whose integrity is beyond reproach is a wonderful feeling

We had a leak on the flat roof portion of our home. They detected the spot that was the issue and then patched and re-coated the entire area to prevent future problems.
Best of all it was done at a fair price in a timely manner.

Great company Jim and Bill worked with me and helped in the tough decisions in replacing a roof. The crew was very professional and on time. They cleaned up when they were done.The office staff (Brenda) was very nice and helped me with insurance paperwork. They pulled The permits and helped me chose the right shingles for the Florida heat and weather. My house is now waterproof and even cooler due to the light colored shingles I would recommend them highly. Thanks Midcoast.
