Mitch and his crew repaired the front half of our 2800 Sq Ft 2 story home 3 years ago. They did such a great job, we just had them return to do the back half, completing the job! I interviewed tons of roofers to do a complete tear off and new ""cool"" roof for 3 months. This company (which just finished my permitted and approved roof) was just finished this week and I am SO happy I chose this family-owned company.
Very fair price - (because they ARE NOT A BIG CORPORATION AND DON'T HAVE ALL THAT BIG COMPANY OVERHEAD)
The crew was great - polite and hardworking - and they cleaned up beautifully every single day!
( Not gonna lie - it was the noisest job ever - but it would have been noisy no matter who did it.)
Mitch Michiel, the owner, explained everything to me before he began and during - so there were no surprises.
He had a licensed plumber come out and take care of the water pipes on the roof and that was included in the price.
They finished the whole job in 5 days and he took care of the permits and arranging the building inspections quickly and efficiently.
He also did my sister's roof in Van Nuys and they were just as happy as I was!

We feel extremely lucky to have found Michiel Roofing. It is owner operated, local, and Mitch, the owner who has been in business for 25 years, came almost every day to check on the progress as well as check in with us. We felt completely included and aware of what was going on at all times. There was no guesswork at any point of the project. Our roof was no small undertaking. There was a crew of 4 or 5 people (who worked tirelessly from 7AM-6PM and a foreman, who was there on the job. AND, they cleaned up perfectly at the end of each day without fail. After several bids, it was clear that Mitch was who we wanted. We hired Michiel Roofing and have zero regrets.There was no upsell when it came to the estimate and the price we were quoted was very fair. The time estimate was 3 weeks for the job and they actually finished days ahead of time including the 5 skylights they rebuilt and installed. And - the work comes with a 10 year warranty.
I can't reccommend Michiel Roofing high enough! Thanks Mitch and team.

Mitch and his awesome crew replaced the whole roof for us! The whole process was so much less painful than I thought because Mitch really thought of everything. He was easy to communicate with, he and his crew were prompt and courteous, and finishing product passed the inspection! We were especially impressed by his crew's work ethics. They arrived on time, worked through pouring rain (just to make sure that there'd be no leak during the construction), and were proud of their work. I definitely recommend Mitch and his team!

Michiel Roofing just put a roof on my house and I am very happy with the job. It was not cheap but started with clear negotiations and no surprises. Permits were handled. Wow...I cant believe I don't have buckets all over my house....Mitch was the best. Great honest and affordable...I refer them to everyone. We knew about the company from West Hills Baseball ....so happy we went with them! I would never consider using anyone else.
