Metroplex Roof and Fence

This company was contracted through Lowes. They did do a good job getting me a new roof. But I have to admit, it was a frustrating experience.
-The start date got pushed out a couple times.
-They left metal (drip edge) in the backyard after completing the job.
-I had to prepay for the screens and they were replaced weeks after the roof was installed. Promises were not met. I had to push and push until all 9 screens were replaced.
I did like the guys I talked to on the phone. They were honest. It sounds like training and keeping employees was something they were struggling with after the hail storms.
This company did complete the job.

Metroplex roof and fence had installed new screens on my lanai after a storm. The spline used to hold the screen was stretched out and defective and was not holding the screens in place. After several months and innumerable phone calls they sent a representative out. They agreed to fix the problem but said the contractor was tied up for two months. The contractor did not show on the day the work was scheduled. When I called him he said George from Metroplex roof had told him he was not going pay him to do the job.
I spoke with George on several occasions while promising to come out and look at the problem. On the two occasions he was to meet with me at my house he was a no show. Calls went unanswered.
I would not recommend Metroplex roof to anyone. They have absolutely no customer service and do not stand behind their work. They strung me along for months promising to repair my lanai. Had me waiting at home all day for a contractor that never showed.

The company does not stand behind its work. Fast service and everyone was friendly until the work was completed. A bad batch of wood was used when doing my fence. After the late ice storm this year, over half of the boards were cracked. No one will come out to walk the fence with me and replace remaining boards. Only a few were changed. The person I spoke with was rude and condescending sending texts after 9 pm and refusing to meet me when I live a mile and half from the business. No hidden fees but I have issues with people who do not stand behind their work when boards are clearly split down the middle.

This company is AWESOME!!! They make sure that your home is restored to its pre storm condition. The staff are friendly and have integrity. The work crews are hard working and clean up when the job is done. The staff helps you through the claim process with your insurance company and there are no hidden fees. If your home has been damaged by storms, call them. They will take good care of your property and you!

Sales people great, but if a problem arises they are unwilling to fix the problem. They do however like to inform you they will take care of the situation, but never follow through. The product is a month old, and I'm deeply disappointed by the run around I received from the company.

While we did end up paying a premium price for our new fence, gutters and roof repair (small patch) the work was excellent and I'm very pleased with their quality. It's now been about a year and a half, and the fence and stain work still look brand new. The gates aren't sagging and the metal posts were well anchored- still straight as an arrow. I'll keep them in mind for any future work. As with any construction project, delays did happen, but ultimately we are pleased with the product.

I'd give them four stars, but at the time they were still struggling with record keeping and billing was a bit of a nightmare. Hopefully they've worked out the bugs and have that figured out now (they had just opened the new office a month or two prior). The good news is that they are still in business and seem to be growing.
