I had a few years worth of leaves in my gutters, even some trees. :( These guys zipped in here, made short work of all my gutters, and then cleaned up my deck and other areas with blowers AND water hose! Cleaned my sliding glass doors and washed down the deck! I can't say enough about these guys. They're professional and will make short work of any job. Thanks!!!

If there were ever Super Heroes of Roof and Gutter Cleaning, it would have to be Jay and his crew of Metro Roof Cleaning! The work they do is nothing short of how I would want it done myself as my house being my real estate investment. They took great care in covering every inch of my clogged gutters and down spouts. They even took the time to take the down spouts apart that they felt would not function 100%. After the first rain, I could state that I'm extremely satisfied with all the work done and no more overflowing gutters and clogged down spouts. Their roof cleaning is where they really shine and so does your roof after their done! Jay and his crew all deserve to wear capes being such super heroes and deserve a key to the city. I'm impressed to say the least!

I found Metro Roof Cleaning through an online search. There were positive ratings elsewhere but not here on Yelp. I was a bit cautious in phone calls I made to different vendors but I found my early phone conversation with Jay, the business owner, very credible and encouraging. I explained to him my concern over the condition of our roof and an HOA notice. He seemed to be knowledgeable with roofs as it relates to HOA properties.

I liked that Metro Jay specialized in roof cleaning. I liked that Jay seemed to be knowledgeable about roofing issues, shingles, and the fact he said he could replace old or damaged shingles if we elected to hire him. That was an unexpected benefit and it was persuasive enough for me to hire him.

Jay was cooperative and worked with my schedule. I did not prefer mornings but I later learned his preference for mornings due to the sun and heat. Jay came over with his son and they went straight to work. His son sprayed the grass and bushes with water. I assume he did that so that the chemicals on the roof would not damage the bushes and grass below. Jay confidently climbed the ladder and got on the roof. I was too nervous to climb onto the steep angle roof to look for myself. I stayed on the ground looking up.

The job went a lot quicker than I expected. Jay hand-cleaned the gutter of built up shingle debris. We were not aware of the shingle debris and appreciated him doing it for us. Because Jay had offered to replace damaged shingles and I didn't have any, he said he would try to find some in his warehouse and return 2 days later. I was going to let him off the hook since I didn't have any matching shingles but he seemed determined to do this for us (which I greatly appreciated). He said I didn't have to pay right away because he was coming back but I made partial payment anyway because I felt it was the fair thing to do.

True to his word, Jay returned two days later. There were some stains that did not come out during the first go-around. He took care of that and there has been no issues since. All the stains on the roof are gone. The roof looks great. Jay replaced the damaged and missing shingles. He also removed two annoying (previously installed by tenants) satellite dishes on the roof at my request.

I believe his work has extended the life of our roof at least 2-3 years (insofar as making the HOA happy). Time will tell if we did enough to satisfy the HOA. But regardless, I was satisfied with Jay's work, service, and willingness to go the extra mile to help us out.

Metro Roof Cleaning is a smaller operation but the upside is Jay listens and he is willing to step outside of what he normally does to help us out. For that, we are grateful. He could have said it wasn't his job. But because he was already there, had the tall ladder, could get on the roof when I couldn't, and it would only take a little extra time, Jay did it for us.

It is the personalized approach to this job that made me want to give him this 5-star review. I recommend Jay and Metro Roof Cleaning. I would certainly consider hiring him again for another roof cleaning job.
