Conrad Anthenien, born July 4, 1915, was a decorated WWII veteran, part of the 10th Mountain Ski Patrol unit, and a recipient of two Purple Hearts and the Silver Star; to put it simply, he exemplified heroism. He was the first to develop Metacrylics through his discovery of the chemical combination of asphalt emulsion and acrylic resin, and obtaining a patent for this innovative formula that remains in use today. Since then, Metacrylics has evolved, but we maintain the same high standards for every product we offer.
