Metacrylics is dedicated to roof coatings that are applied in liquid form. Since 1971, we have been creating sustainable roofing solutions using recycled raw materials. The cool roof system we offer reflects an average of 87% of sunlight, resulting in a decrease in roof surface temperature by nearly 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Our founder, Conrad Anthenien, born July 4, 1915, was a distinguished veteran of World War II, serving in the 10th Mountain Ski Patrol unit, earning two Purple Hearts and the Silver Star; in other words, he was a genuine hero. Conrad pioneered our company by discovering the chemical combination of asphalt emulsion and acrylic resin, receiving a patent for this formula that is still in use today. Since then, Metacrylics has grown, but we maintain our high standards in all of our products.
