Metacrylics specializes in liquid roof coatings. Since 1971, our mission has been producing green roof systems using environmentally friendly raw materials. We provide a cool roof system reflects an average of 87% of sunlight, resulting in a decrease in the exterior roof temperature by almost 90 degrees. After application, once it is fully bonded, you receive a robust membrane roof that remains nearly maintenance-free. Our founder, Conrad Anthenien, born July 4, 1915, was a decorated WWII veteran, part of the 10th Mountain Ski Patrol unit, who received two Purple Hearts and the Silver Star; to put it simply, he was a genuine hero. He was the first to develop Metacrylics by discovering the method to combine acrylic resin with asphalt emulsion, and obtaining a patent for this innovative formula that is still in use today. Since then, our company has progressed, yet we uphold our high standards in all of our products.
