Seriously POOR communication with Mr. Meraz. We felt like we were forcing him to come do the job. He never reached back out to us after a month until we did to see if he was still going to do the job. Still his reply didn't say what date and time. Very unprofessional. We were referred to him by a family member otherwise we would have already gone with someone else.

I hired Meraz Roofing to replace the roof on my garage. The crew was efficient, friendly, and did an excellent job, including thoroughly cleaning up afterward. The office staff including Rose and Margarita, were friendly and helpful.

Being an out of town landlord, it is not always easy to find a reputable company to deal with. I am so glad I went with Meraz for my roof replacement in Coalinga. It is not always easy to find a company that does what they say they are going to do, returns phone calls promptly and gets the job done on time.
The estimate was done very quickly and the quote put in writing. Sometimes going with the most reasonable bid is not a good idea but this time it was. All of my phone calls were returned and questions answered right away. The permit process took one extra day but I was called and informed so there were no surprises. The extra work that had to be done due to dry rot was performed at a very reasonable cost. I appreciate the job well done and the excellent service provided. I highly recommend Meraz Roofing!

I gave a review before getting service and now regret it. They never got back to me with the info I asked for or scheduled me as requested. I was ready to get the job done! In the meantime, I have had to have cancer surgery and am undergoing therapy. It is upsetting that they never followed through. My first review probably sent them business, and that was a huge mistake to review them prematurely.

Made an appointment for this company to meet for a new residential roof estimate. They never showed or called to say they couldn't make it. Poor communication says everything about a company.

Horrible service from the start, I called to make an appointment to get an estimate for a new roof, they sent someone to measure while I was at work without even informing me they were going to be at my house on my roof. They set my home alarm off and still couldn't give me a call, the only reason I noticed was because of my home security cameras alerting me. I called them and they apologized for not informing me saying it was their mistake. After waiting a couple days and not receiving an estimate I called to ask, I provided them my address and the individual on the phone rudely responds saying yes I have your address and measurements what do you need? Obviously I was calling for my estimate, I provided her with my email and she said I should receive it within 20 minutes, its been a week and I have not received an email or a call from them. If they are this bad with just trying to get an estimate from them, I could just imagine the process of actually getting the roof changed.

I had Meraz Roofing put a new composition shingle roof on a rental property I own. I was not on site to observe the work, but my tenant was satisfied that they were doing a professional job and cleaned up properly. The finished roof looks great, but there have been no hard rains yet. We'll see how it holds up over the winter.

Meraz gave me a fair price and completed the work in a timely manner. The reason I gave only four stars is because they were not good about letting me know when they'd be out to work and when they wouldn't. If my tenant was a working man, it would have made things complicated. One of the workers also lost the original permit papers, which delayed the final inspection and approval.

I would recommend Meraz Roofing to others, and plan to have them replace the roof on my own house soon. Just be aware you can't expect them to keep you apprised of their schedule. You will have to call their office if you want to know, but the girls in the office are friendly and helpful.

Pros: Excellent price, fast service, professional work.

Cons: Lack of communication.

Meraz roofing put a new roof on for us this past month. They were very quick, working an extra long day the first day to get off all the old wood shingles, getting the plywood up and cleaning the entire area even though the weather was over 100. We were able to get our cars in the garage which was a concern for us. They finished the job within three days. Roof looks great. They cleaned up after themselves every day. Very reasonable

What a great company! I had a new roof within a week. The guys were super efficient and cleaned up beautifully. My roof looks amazing and the price was very reasonable and fair.
