They're just too notch. Always have been. I've worked with them on and off over a decade, as a Realtor recommending them to many clients. There is no one else I would call for roofing.

It seems there's some communication problem with their group. I asked for someone to come out and look at my roof. After inspection, I asked for a bid to do the work. They left. The next day, they came back ready to get on my roof and do the work. No paperwork or bid. Armando was the gentleman for both visits. I politely turned him away saying no one has called me or emailed me with a bid to any work so I dont understand why you are here. He left and said his boss would call me. I called Mendocino roofing and told the woman on the phone what had happened as the company should be aware. She treated me as if I had done something wrong which clearly, I didn't. Her attitude was not one of professionalism and I certainly advise all to be alerted to this. No one should show up to do work without approval and accepted bids. Whether this is intentional action I'm not clear, but clearly, the woman I spoke with should have been apologetic and be clear that this is a mistake and would be corrected.

Highly recommend Mendocino Roofing, Inc. Awesome experience!I recently had my roof replaced by Mendocino Roofing. They also replaced my roof 22 years ago. I am writing this review to praise this organization for their professional service. At the end of everyday, the job site was cleaned and organized. Here is what I had done: Whole roof was torn off, boards were replaced, and composite shingles replaced. Skylights were replaced, metal caps placed to cover woodpecker damage on exposed beams, angle irons attached to hold together corners of facia boards, stained upper story facia boards. Again, highly recommend...ask for the owner, Jason.

Jason came out a few weeks ago and sealed a leak that I had where the chimney meets the roof. It was a quick fix and he did not charge me for his services.

The last storm that came through we found another leak in the garage. When I climbed into the attic there were 8 small leaks. Jason sent someone out the next day to fix it. They worked from the top of the roof sealing as much as they could find and for less than $100. The spots that they found are perfectly sealed but there are still three areas where water is dripping (very slowly). The roof is very worn and I don't think it is there fault that we still have some issues. I am sure if I asked they would come back out but for now I am fine with a few trays sitting in the attic.

We have discussed them replacing the roof in the near future and I will update when that happens.
