IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS MY ROOF WAS REPAIRED...AMAZING!!!

Previously, I left voicemails/emails for numerous roofing companies in Palm Beach County, including Turner Roofing, Roofman, Inc. and Leo Roofing, and they didn't have the decency to get back to me...even to say they were not interested. When I am looking to replace the roof down the road Menditia will be my FIRST call!!!

I rate with 1 star because there is no possibility to rate with 0 stars. They did the roofing work on a small portion at the back family room of a relative's house last December 1, 2021, and the whole process was totally disorganized. The workers arrived to star the job and when they were done, they left without notifying the client, and the representative of the company never came to supervise the job. After they left the client got on the roof, and he realized the job did not have a nice finished. It looks sloppy and with no quality. Instead of using the appropriated amount of materials, they used pieces of it in some parts. When the representative of the company, Mr. Mario, who never came to supervise the work, came to pick up his check next day, the client claimed to him that the work didn't look right. I personally tried to explain him that the roof looks sloppy, and that the joins they left, due to using cut pieces of material instead of the appropriate whole piece, might cause the water to leak again. He told me that I was not a roofer, and that the job was well done. He was yelling showing a disrespectful and unprofessional behavior. The client asked him if there was a possibility to fix that situation, and he was told that if he wanted to have it fixed and get an appropriated finished, that would cost an extra $ 1500 additional to the $ 3400 agreed in the original contract. The client paid the $ 3400 agreed in the original contract, not being satisfied with the job though. We hope the roof doesn't leak again. As a family, we would never use this company again, and we don't recommend it to anybody.

Hicieron el trabajo de techado en una pequeña porción en la habitación trasera de la casa de un familiar el 1 de diciembre de 2021, y todo el proceso fue totalmente desorganizado. Los trabajadores llegaron a realizar el trabajo y al terminar se fueron sin decirle nada al cliente. El representante de la empresa nunca vino a supervisar el trabajo. Después de que se fueron, el cliente subió al techo y se dio cuenta de que el trabajo no tenía un buen acabado. Se ve descuidado y de poca calidad. En lugar de usar la cantidad apropiada de materiales, usaron pedazos del mismo en algunas partes. Cuando el representante de la empresa, el Sr. Mario, quien nunca vino a supervisar el trabajo, vino a recoger su cheque al dia siguiente, el cliente le dijo que el trabajo no se veía bien. Yo personalmente traté de explicarle que el techo se ve descuidado y que las juntas que dejaron, por usar pedazos cortados del material en lugar de usar la pieza completa adecuada, podrían hacer que el agua volviera a gotear. Me dijo que yo no era techador y que el trabajo estaba bien hecho. Gritaba todo el tiempo mostrando un comportamiento totalmente irrespetuoso y poco profesional. El cliente le preguntó si existía la posibilidad de arreglar esa situación y le dijo que si quería arreglarlo y conseguir un acabado apropiado, costaría $ 1500 extra adicionales a los $ 3400 acordados en el contrato original. El cliente pago los $3400 acordados en el contrato original, a pesar de no estar satisfecho con el trabajo. Esperamos que el techo no vuelva a gotear. No volvería a utilizar esta empresa y no se la recomiendo a nadie.

Asked for an estimate for a 620sq new roofing (1200sqf roof area) and some reroofing of existing with slight repairs. Was given an estimate for $6300 which is above and over. The estimate was written in such a way that he would get 50% upfront. and 50% after work done. No mention of passing inspections etc. When I modified the proposal to include what a decent proposal should have, I emailed it, but never got it signed on the other end, asked to send contract. Instead they applied for a permit, didn't pay for it, didn't send me a contract, next day they want to come do work, and sent some sad looking employees that consisted of a farther and a 20yo son with a bunch of crappy materials. No contract, no knocking on the door that someone has arrived. Shady practice of starting work to force me into work without contract. Turned out they didn't pay for permit. Wanted to do work with other materials that I have specified in the plans. Caught them on the roof, told them to get down and wait for contract to be signed. She came with the same estimate document I was given before I amended it. I went to my house and changed it again. The boss guy on the phone was hysterical and yelling. Told me they ain't gonna do it. Were they looking for a sore loser to take advantage of? No thanks.

I can't thank Mario enough, I had him fix my roof about seven years ago and was very happy with the work he did but I lost his business card and couldn't remember his last name. Now I get a leak (the roof is 20+ years old) behind the fascia and one ""highly rated"" roofing company charged me $175 just to come out and look. They misdiagnosed the problem and wanted an outrageous amount. Asked around and tried another. Their price was better, but when the leak moved from behind the fascia to INSIDE my house on Saturday, they had to see when they could come out as the scheduling guy would be in on Monday. Panicked, I tried to search my email to see if I could find Mario and I did! I tell him the situation and he says, ""I'll be there within the hour."" and he was. He did his ""Adrian Monk"" thing and told me what the problem was right away. Then he asked me a question no one else did... ""Do you have any other leaks?"" I said, I didn't think so but he walks around the house and looks. He says he sees three other areas of concern and his guy will check them for free after he fixes the current leak. No lie, nearly HALF the price of the other roofers. Weather was still rainy, but he said maybe he can be out tomorrow. A few hours later, the sun peaks through the clouds. My wife says maybe we should go for a bike ride before it rains again and then the doorbell rings. It's Mendieta Roofing! Four hours later the work is done and three hours after that we had a downpour. I went out in my swim trunks and my wife in a raincoat and looked... not a drop. The rain poured into the gutter and away from the house. And as for the other problem areas? He was right. Thank God he caught them. I saw what was under those shingles... He could have stuck me there with a huge bill but still his fee was really, really fair. Fixed them right the very next day. Now it's rainy season and I haven't a care.

Let me tell you... don't bother with anyone else. Mario is simply the best. His price was so reasonable and his work so solid. My wife and I are extremely happy we found him again. I won't use anyone else. Been burned too many times.

Mendieta Roofing was Recommended to me and called back within an hour and met me at the house within 24 hrs. I had called 3 other roofers who either didn't call me back or said they couldn't give me a quote for 2-3 weeks. I had a small job that required immediate repair due to a home inspection on a home sale. Not only did I get a written quote on the spot, they did the job within 48 hours! Oh, did I mention the price was RIGHt TOO! Highly recommend Mendieta Roofing for all your roofing needs!

He did show up when he said he would and his roofers were here when they said they would be. He would not give us a written estimate. We weren't home when the work was complete and scheduled time to meet him for payment. He never showed up or called. When we called him, he then asked us to mail money, with no estimate and no invoice. We asked multiple times for an invoice and he said he was too busy. Months later, he finally sent an invoice for a higher amount than agreed and threatened us when we said we would only pay the original quoted price. Even better, the roof still leaks! Look elsewhere for a roofer.

I would use this roofing company again , Mario was straight forward work was done in the time they said , great quality job at a fair price.
