Mel is an extremely nice guy. Came out and looked over my leaks in my garage. Had 2 other companies over and he's the only business that came up with the idea that because my attic is sealed and spray insulated it's causing condensation which is leaking down the walls. He got up and looked inside the attic and listened to what I had to say. The 2 other quotes I received weren't even in the same ballpark as far as troubleshooting.
His company came out on time with Juan the foreman and 3 other employees. Installed 2 new roof vents and unblock the airways that were covered in spray foam. Mel had called me beforehand and explained he wanted Juan to open up a 4 x 8' area on the roof to look and see if there was any water damage. That was pretty smart because it lets you get a better idea if it's a leak or condensation. Anyway, there's no real way to figure anything out until it starts to rain buckets. I do appreciate Mel's professionalism and honesty. Seems to be lacking in a lot of other businesses these days.

I don't have my quite yet but their customer service is excellent. They fit me in to check my roof they kept me informed if he was running late and he showed up when they said.
They responded to my origami call with in 1 hour. They explain what was wrong and how they replace things. So far so good. Just waiting for quote which he said will be in 2 to 3 days.

We just got our roof replaced by Mel's Roofing Co. 2 days ago. The project was completed in 3 days and we were very impressed by the way the job was carried out by his team headed by his son. The surrounding area was always clean while the job was in progress as everything was well organized. The team was very responsible and respectful. Mel and his team were knowledgeable, approachable, patient and answered all our queries. Our roof looks great and we thank Mel and his team.

We asked three roofing companies to submit a quote. Mel's Roofing was the most responsive, had the best price quote, and have a very customer-oriented service. Mel himself came over to look at what the job entails and he's been the main contact since. We emailed, texted, and did voice calls. He always responded in a timely manner. Mel was very transparent when it came to change orders, too. The project was finished on time. It passed the city's building inspection. I, definitely, would recommend his company to do the work. Very professional team, too.

After talking to many other roofing companies, I ended up choosing Mel's Roofing. Most other roofing companies either never showed up for the estimate, or took multiple days/weeks to get back to me with a bid on the job. I was impressed from the start with Mel's communication. He responded to every message and answered all my questions. I did an entire roof replacement of my house. The great experience I had with Mel continued through to the end of the roof install even after I handed him the final payment. All the work he did looked great and passed inspection, and the crew did a good job cleaning around the property. I had a follow up question for him and even after receiving my final payment he had someone come out to make everything right. I would highly recommend hiring Mel's team and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again in the future for any roofing needs.

Mel's wasn't the lowest of the five bids we received but he was among the most reasonable (one was so low that it was an obvious low ball and one was so high that it was an obvious joke). We were impressed with Mel's knowledge and suggestions. He gave us a timeline and hit those marks every time. He stayed in contact and responded quickly to our questions. Of the various contractors we've hired over the years, Mel was among the easiest to work with and provided some of the best work.
