Recently McMurray and sons completed a reproof on my cabin BigLagoon. All companies have long wait times in this day and age, but their communication was excellent. Took a while to come up in the que, but it was worth the wait. Great crew, speedy, tarped during a brief hail storm, and completed in one day as promised. Clean up was A++. Very satisfied.

We have hired McMurray and Sons multiple times and have never been disappointed. I've referred them to clients as well as close family and friends whom have all had great experiences with them. I highly recommend them for any roofing needs. For example, our garage roof started leaking during a rainy Humboldt week. I called McMurrays and they had guys out within hours to tarp our roof to help keep things dry while we were scheduled for a reroofing.

so weird. these peep have been round forever...not a single review, good or bad for 3-4 years??? so far they have sucked for us. No clean up after the job, gutters ripped off, not sure if they were garbage or not. If they were garbage, they should have taken them with them. Billy Bean a nightmare to deal with, as was his brother, Troy. Broke our heater, refused to take ownership or responsibility. Now we are gonna be out another 4-5 k for a gas wood stove. My dad 92 years old called the ""name and tradition Mcmurray and sons"" Roofing company 2 times the last 1 1/2 weeks. 1st call, no call back. Dad called once again a couple days later (call 2), they said no record of 1st call. ""Will call back"". Now I called 11-8-21, to ask why no one called for estimate. Still no record of previous 2 phone calls. I talked to Troy on 3rd call, who claimed to be some kind of owner, told him the situation and would schedule someone to come out. I told him why does it take 3 calls to give us your business, his exact quote was, ""then call someone else, I don't care"". Needless to say, I have not, and will never use (""tradition"") place, (But my Dad called instead of me) being very rude, and a jerk.. The founder would be rolling in his grave with THAT TROY's attitude.

I had my roof done in Crescent City in 2005. It leaked from the start. I called and they sent someone out who said it was pine needles that caused the leak. I cleaned them off the roof but continued to have leaks. I contacted them again. The next guy said it was condensation, not the roof. Years passed and I had leaks every rain. Called again, this time the guy said it was because of moss. Clean it off he said and I would not have any more leaks. So I did. Next rainy season the leaks continued. I called again. This time they sent a couple of workers from their Brookings office. They came and assessed the roof and found that it had been improperly installed from the start. They were sure the company would fix it because of their finding the roof had been botched from the start. Sadly, the company just continued to pretend it was not their concern. I appreciated the honesty of the Brookings men, it's in stark contrast to the owner of the company. Please beware of this company. If I could give them zero stars, I would have.

If I could give these guys a 10 star I WOULD!!!!! First...CHRIS YOU ROCK :-D Second.....we had them out twice, once for the new roof and then 2 months later to do the siding. BEAUTIFUL WORK!!!!! Once they finished each day they cleaned up....would never have known they had been there.
