If you're looking for a roofer, you'll want to check out McLeran Roofing. We interviewed a few companies. I also asked my long time clients for recommendations. More often than not the name, ""McLeran Roofing"" came up, and numerous people said, ""And I used them in my last house, too"".
Sara Lopez, who ran McLeran's business office for many years, recently got her contractor's license and took over the business. Her husband, Martin, is the foreman.
Sara and I talked for months getting all the particulars straight: figuring out style, color, and how it would all go down. I really appreciated a woman's understanding of my concerns and attention to detail, as re-roofing can be messy business.
We had no plywood sheeting and crumbling tiles on the old roof, and I could imagine all too well the mess I was in for. Sara had solutions!
On tear off day, multiple trucks arrived. I was at work, but neighbors all said the McLeran team was both respectful and quiet.
In 3 1/2 days of dealing with the multiple levels of our roof, the team tore off, placed all new plywood sheeting and installed our beautiful new roof. Each night they cleaned up, gathering up their tools and storing them out of sight.
After completion they left us with a bundle of shingles in case we needed to patch something down the road, as colors change every few years. I consider myself as strong, but I couldn't even budge the one bundle. The guys on the McLeran team carried one and sometimes two bundles on their backs, bounding across ladder bridges between our multiple roofs. They were truly amazing!!
They were also competitive in pricing.
We chose Presidential TL, Autumn Blend, and we couldn't be happier!!

Brian McLeran runs a business that is responsive, compassionate, ethical, and moral. He looks out for his clients as well as his men and has a long history of charitable work. He has gone above and beyond in helping me manage a difficult roofing situation and I trust him completely--something I can't say about almost any other business I've encountered in the last number of years. McLeran Roofing provided us with an incredible experience. I replaced my roof in conjunction with the roof of the adjacent townhome, which had sustained such damage that certain areas of their ceiling were sagging. An initial review of the roofing project (by a building inspector) yielded some solutions that were going to require extensive interior changes. Brian McLeran carefully listened to my concerns about the interior work, then came up with a creative solution that didn't involve interior changes at all. Additionally, Sara (McLeran's administrator) was very efficient and prompt with all communication. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

McLeran Roofing just finished installation of a new roof on our house. They did the whole job in 2 days exactly on schedule, removal and disposal of the old roof, and the new one looks great! they left the yard and work areas as clean as they found them. We couldn't be more pleased with their skilled work and the professional approach from beginning to end. They obtained the permit and came ahead of time to post it on the front of our house. We couldn't be happier!

There are not enough positive adjectives to say how much I appreciated the professional, timely, friendly and COMPETENT roofing job on our house by McLeran Roofing. I have had a lot of work done on my house this year -- new garage doors, painting, front door repair, etc etc and McLeran stands out head and shoulders above all these people. Not only did my roof get replaced when they promised, but it looks fantastic. When I struggled to decide on which shingles to use, Sara from the office gave me addresses of other jobs they have done that used the shingles I was considering so I could see it in person. That so helped me visualize what the shingles would look like on my house. Also when they saw a problem with my chimney, they pointed it out and recommended people to solve the problem who did not charge me an arm and a leg. Brian, the owner, is down to earth and it is obvious that he knows what he is doing. Sara who runs the office is friendly and gets back to you promptly. There were other roofing companies that I called for estimates and they never even returned my calls!!! I would highly recommend McLeran Roofing!!! I wish more people out there would match their competence and professionalism!!!!!

I have had several communications with this company over several months. They made multiple promises to complete the roof and failed. Their failures caused me to lose several months of time and it was a crucial time period for so much time to be wasted due to them. It was a very unprofessional and incompetent experience and I do not recommend this company.

This Company is top notch. They did an excellent job. The workers were courteous, happy and accommodating. The expertise was excellent. They arrived at 7:30 am or so, worked extremely fast and finished in 2 days. Adam was their supervisor and he did an excellent job of having materials arrive on time and explaining every day exactly what was happening. McLeran Roofing is fair in pricing and using quality material.

This review covers our new roof (installed June 2018) and our experience with Brian McLeran over several years, doing inspections of the previous 30 year old roof. First - Brian won't sell you something you don't need. We have appreciated his honest evaluations. Second - Brian takes the necessary time to review the job site and protect mature landscaping. Brian and his crew managers walked our property three separate times before starting work to set up protocols for minimizing damage. Third - when there is an issue (a clogged downspout we noticed after the first heavy rain) the office manager, Sara, facilitates a quick service call to get the problem solved.

The recent roofing job (house and garage) took two days, with a lot of people working. They were all polite and professional. We are completely satisfied.
