McCurdy was recommended by my trusted contractor, so I didn't hesitate in hiring them. They came out within hours of my initial call, prepared an estimate quickly and worked around scheduling complications. I was grateful that they timed their work to dovetail with the completion of painting, as it allowed us to use the same scaffolding for both projects. The noise and mess of roofing isn't easy on a homeowner or their neighbors, but McCurdy made the process painless. Their crew was professional, efficient and a pleasure to work with. They responded immediately when I discovered a small problem the day after completion and sent a crew on the weekend to correct a problem.

Getting your roof fixed is SO not something I want to think about again, but Mike and his team made the process so painless. We called around to search for pricing and Mike was not only on point for his customer service and onsite visits, but the project was quick and thorough!

We had a leak in the roof in our living room, that only leaked when it rained sooo we didn't think about actually bumping it up the home improvement priority list. However, like most during the pandemic, house repairs were totally trending (and for good reason)! It feels so good knowing that when the rain finally decides to make a come back, our couch cushions will be... dry!

Wayne came to our house to do some roofing work. My landlord hired them, and they were polite, conscientious and very personable to work with. They were amazingly fast at the work with very little inconvenience. The work that they did looks great!

I will start with their prompt and initial response to my request for an estimate. Half the battle is having roofing companies respond to a request for an estimate. The McCurdy team (Mike, Amber, Wayne) was pleasant, professional and wasn't pushy with the hard sell.

Wayne came out as scheduled to give me an estimate and found him to be very knowledgeable about roofs and very proud to be part of McCurdy Roofing. He thoroughly inspected my roof and showed me pictures taken from his inspection of defects and potential future problems. Very grateful he took the time to explain things that I would have never realized on my own.

It's unfortunate that we didn't end up using McCurdy. Their bid was competitive and comprehensive. We ended using another contractor due to other circumstances that was not related to McCurdy. Perhaps we will call upon McCurdy on another roof in the future. The best thing you can do for yourself when looking for roof replacement/repair is to at least give McCurdy a call. It was genuinely a pleasant experience overall.

Wayne from McCurdy Roofing was wonderful. When our kitchen ceiling was leaking, he arrived promptly, found the issue (a clogged drain on our roof), and went to the hardware store to get the necessary parts to clean and cover the drain. He was very professional and communicated everything to our landlord for us. If you have an emergency roofing job, these are the guys to call!

McCurdy roofing for the win! Discovered a leak inside my house after the last big rain. Called up McCurdy roofing, was contacted the next business day to schedule an estimate and Mike came out in two days. Super fortunate they were able to come out so fast. Mike was positive and incredibly knowledgeable. He went up the roof and assessed the integrity of my Roof and gutters. Fireplace and all. We had a roofing job and tried to get several bids but a few companies would not come out to Alameda or just weren't interested. It was very important to me -- which we communicated -- that the workers wear masks. We were told they would. They didn't. Thus, while they were here I would not go out to check their work. Once they left I discovered they moved all of these unnecessary patio items -- artwork, ladders that had plants on them thus they were not meant to be used, big plants. It was crazy. Like a complete remodeling job which was unnecessary. Things were broken and they moved a huge planter with a tree in it that is now dead because it's too big for me to move.

These guys are real professionals. They were very easy to schedule with and the office manager is extremely friendly! We just bought a house and had no idea on the status of this old roof. They didn't try to sell us a new roof, they actually offered to fix two spots that were in need of patching and charged a small fee. Super impressed with them and will be calling them when we so need a new roof.
