My roof was leaking around my chimney. Sigh. Every time it rains, I get water down the side of the chimney into the wall. The drywall cracked. I got it fixed three times. THREE TIMES. The roofers who repaired it were not roofers. They were handymen who said ""I can fix that."" They were good guys. And good handymen. But they weren't roofers. This time, I decided to go with a real roofer - McCormack Roofing. What a difference. Steve, the estimator, showed up and got on my roof. He said: ""Yep, you have a leak around the chimney. And you need new ridge caps. But the roof overall is in good shape. We can put sealer around the chimney, but Jim wouldn't like that. He says ""do it right."" (Jim is the owner. Love it when a worker name drops the owner. It means the owner works in the business.) So, I said ""How much?"" And the cost was less than I thought (more than a handyman, but when I added up all the handymen fees it was less.) So, I said yes, let's do it. Josh called and scheduled my project. He told me the team would show up between 8 and 10 on Friday. They followed up with an email. Jaime and Nelson showed up at 8:15. They were polite and clean. They had all their tools. They told me what they were going to do. About 4 hours later it was lunch time. I went outside, and they were off the roof and calling into the office to give them a status. I asked ""Is it done?"" Jaime said ""Yes, we've cleaned up. I'd like to come into your house and check from the inside."" We went inside, and there was dust on the floor from the repair. ""Let me clean that up for you,"" he said. Wow. Nice manners. The next day I got a call from Monique. ""How did it go yesterday"" she asked. Fantastic I said. Here's the best part. Two days later it rained. Really. It never rains in Southern California. (Couldn't resist.) I stayed dry. My walls and floor stayed dry. I'm very happy, and recommend McCormack Roofing. Lesson learned. Hire experts. It's a better value.

Very disappointed after the owner came to give me a quote and a bunch of promises, their attitude and communication were less than cero. I won't go on details , but besides the two Mexican installers I never saw a supervisor come and make sure the job was done properly like I was promised, even to get my invoice, it took them a month to send it to me. They sent me a review sheet, and after I gave them very low scores , I got no call or email to explain or apologize for their lack of communication and on top of that, they left a mess in my garage for me to clean up.

Really disappointed with our experience with McCormack.

This year was rainy so they were really busy and it took them awhile to get out to give us a quote, but all the roofers were swamped so we understood. We paid a deposit, signed a contract for a roof tile reset and were told the work would start in about 6 weeks due to the back log.

We get a call 6 weeks later to schedule the work and the crews come out and ""won't do the work since our roof is too steep"" so they cancel on us. Now it has been 3 weeks and we still haven't gotten our deposit back. I've called and requested it but still have not received it. I am really surprised that it has taken this long since they are the ones who cancelled on us. Really disappointed in how unprofessional this company has been.

We had McCormack install a steel roof in 2002. We also had a repair on the flat part of our roof in 2006. With the recent crazy rain and wind, we had a small leak in our kitchen. It seems the wind was pushing in the rain through a small gap. I send an e-mail with a copy of our contract and a photo of the leak and within 4 hours, we had a call from Scott who said he was in the area and could stop by if it was convenient. He diagnosed the problem, added some sealant and was in and out within about 40 minutes and no charge. We've always had good service with McCormack Roofing.

I had a leak in my garage, luckily my roof was under warranty. The leak occurred during the holiday and I left a voice message during the weekend. As soon as they returned they gave me a call back and even scheduled me in during a short week. The roofer came early , which is huge for me, showed me what was wrong and how he fixed it. It was one of the easiest experience dealing with a warranty I have ever had. I highly recommend this company for your roofing needs.

I got the best service from this roofing company. They replaced my roof .The workers were so fast and clean that we couldn't believe it. They were polite and delivered what they had promised. I hope over the years our roof stay as nice as it is today. No complain.
