I can't say enough about how wonderful Kevin, Andrew, and their team are. I reached out to Kevin earlier in the year as my third roofer opinion. He was recommended as a roofer who has been in the business for 30+ years and is incredibly honest and fair. He lived up to his reputation and more. While they were backlogged by about three months, all roofing companies are right now, he kept me updated on progress and dates whenever I reached out. He communicates through text and was incredibly prompt in replying each and every time. While their pricing is better than the other companies we spoke to, it was how they did business and how they spoke and worked with me through the process that made all the difference. They treated me like a human, talked to me like we were old friends, and were honest and upfront about everything. Entire job took less than five business days and we had A LOT of work due termite damage. Highly highly recommend! Super grateful for them.

As we are on the downward curve toward retirement, we are intentionally replacing large cost items during our income earning days. We decided that we wanted to have solar added to our house and decided that during the replacement of our 25 year old roof, this was the right timing. After saving for quite some time for this project, we were fortunate to become acquainted with McClain Roofing.

Our friends had (additional) solar added to their roof by Sunergy and they recommended we give Sunergy an opportunity (our friends are obviously very pleased with the outcome of the solar added to their home by Sunergy). Sunergy works with McClain roofing and McClain was suggested as a pre-solar install potential roof replacement contractor option.

It is important to note that we saved for nearly two years for this project so it was important to us to get a great value in return for all of that saving. We did not want the biggest cost savings but rather the biggest bang for our buck. We feel that we received a great value by going with McClain roofing.

Firstly, the communication was great! There were options and prices presented up front. The install date was agreed upon. Everyone was on time and the project was completed 1 day ahead of schedule. We had expected that we would have some wood replacement needs (termites/water damage, etc.) and this proved to be true. McClain expressed the issues found and gave an estimate that was very fair to complete the work.

All in all, no surprises, an end result that is better than expected, no nickle/diming. Just good work that we are pleased with...and at a price that we feel was a great value.

We would definitely recommend McClain to friends, family and neighbors and are thankful that the last roof replacement we will have done was done by McClain Roofing.

I contacted Kevin 15 years later after a storm to check on an issue on my roof. Kevin came by and checked m roof and stood by their work. They thoroughly inspected my roof and did not try to sell or charge me for anything I didn't need. Very refreshing to do business with such a honest company that does great job. A home inspector was also impressed with my roof and thought it was a lot newer than it is. Kevin is such a nice guy and his crew are so nice and professional. I can't say enough good things about this man and his company. You want a quality roof then hope you can get a McClain roof. They are so good that they are so busy but won't compromise they're reputation by doing too many jobs.
