Having Steve Hunter fixing roof for us is one of the best experience we had with contractors. His price is reasonable and he operates his business in a very very professional manner. He even shows up on time.

He is very thorough and very detailed. He lists all your problems item by item and explains to you the reasons behind, and offers options and suggestions. When it's finished he also supplied us with a job report with photos shown what final works look like.

Another thing worth mentioning is that he puts everything in writing so you would know exactly what you are getting. It can be time consuming sometimes but it sure prevents a lots of misunderstandings and hassles later. It also gives you peace of mind.

I definitely recommend Maximum Roof Care to anyone and thank you Steve for the prompt repair our several roof leaking issues, Excellent work and very satisfied.

Steve recently worked on our roof and we could not be more satisfied. From the start, he was very upfront and professional. (He even google earthed our house before arriving so he could see what the roof looked like from above) He explained the problem, other potential issues and described what was needed to fix our leaks. He was always on time, kept us constantly informed, maintained a clean workplace, and from what we can determine, did a superb job. Can't ask for much more.

This is a late review but just want to let people know that Just like the other person said don't use them. I hired them around February 2013 for a leaking roof ( several leak ) but to my disappointment nothing was fix . I don't know it looks like they did not do anything. Really bad experienced. If it is possible to give 0 star I will .

Steve was able to come out and work on my cement tile roof with little issue. I needed to make sure everything was in great shape for my solar install. He was able to provide me with an estimate and timeline that worked well with our family. Clean and helpful. I would use him again for any of my roofing needs. Thanks Maximum Roof Care!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had a very unpleasant experience with the owner and need to caution others about his business practices.

The original meeting and quote seemed fine. Steve appeared pleasant and thorough. Total work on my roof came to ~$8000 and I understood there might be some ""hidden"" damage that could cost more. During the initial meeting he up-sold me into removing some dummy eave beams by mentioning it would give my house a more modern look and remove the possibility of water pooling on top of those beams.

When work was nearing completion, I noticed that some obviously compromised shingles on my garage roof weren't getting addressed. This was ""visible"", not ""hidden"" damage, but Steve claims he missed it in his original quote; ka-ching, add $200.

Somewhat after the work was completed, I noticed a few of the dummy eave beams hadn't been replaced. I contacted him, he said he was too busy, but would get back to me later. After not hearing from him for months, I contacted him again, and he sent his crew. At this point it became apparent he misquoted the original work; there were in fact 12 dummy eave beams, but he miscounted and only recognized 9.

In both cases, Steve didn't admit or apologize for his oversights; he instead head immediately into the up-charge discussion. Poor customer service skills.

It borders on the absurd in that even though I had paid him a $300 fee to prime and paint, he argues that this doesn't include the three 2 sqft sections behind the overlooked dummy eave beams. The other sections were primed and painted, but he argues that this overlooked work is somehow different.

As mentioned earlier, his original inspection and quote appeared thorough, but unless you speak ""roofing"" and can recognize the subtleties in his contract, he uses every opportunity to fine-line specificity and turn it into an up-charge. Not mentioned above was other ""hidden"" damage up-charges of ~$500.

When exasperated and trying to reason with him, he became argumentative and hung up during our final call. I accept some responsibility for the emotional content, but I'm the customer, I'm not trying to gouge him out of thousands of dollars. The work we're talking about is actually the small dollar stuff. I just want my house to look right when the work is done, and I'm not willing to continually pay up-charges for oversights and mistakes he refuses to acknowledge or take responsibility for.

Steve Hunter and his crew replaced my cedar shake roof with composite shingles. They also repaired the gutter, removed the antenna, and replaced a beam in my attic. They were completely professional, attentive, and performed very high-quality work. I would recommend them to anyone looking for roofing work.

we had a very difficult leak in our roof during a series of rain storms. Steve and his crew are very professional and were able to find the leak spot after two visits. It was not an economical repair. But what can you expect when you have a leak from a very difficult spot during rainstorms from a very busy roofing contractor? If I had a very difficult complex roof leak these are the people I will call again...

My experience is really bad. 1st job was poorly done (hope I can load the pictures here to show, did post it on nextdoor) and then Steve and Omar and his father who performed the job tells me they won't guarranty it won't leak, if it leaks it is due to some other problem rather than the work they did. If they can't identify the problem but only fixing something that is not the leak source,what kind of roofer is that? The job was only glue the nails and some cracks on the old glue of flashing around chimney, plus replace some cracked tiles. 2nd the work was postponed, they came much later on the postponed day. When I get on the phone asking Steve when are they going to arrive after the postponed time has passed, he was very inpatient and just told me end of the day can't offer anymore estimate on the time. and that he's busy he got to go.

I highly recommand this company. I saticefied everything. the price was reasonable, the work was fast and well-done. If I got another home needed new roof, I will definetely call Steve agian.

I had a leak in my roof that a not to be named company tried to repair 3 times and couldn't get it done. This resulted in multiple water remediation repairs being done in the same room. I called Steve at Maximum, he came the same day, took pictures of my roof, showed me what was wrong, and his crew permanently fixed the problem. They were fast, honest, and reasonable. I'll recommend him to anyone. Thanks!
