This is the 4th building where I've used Matthew Lorand Roofing. This most recent building is a rental unit with a flat roof that started leaking 1 week before I was scheduled to go on vacation. Jason quickly quoted the job and was willing to do the work will I was out of town so that I didn't have to be there and I didn't have to reschedule my vacation. He coordinated everything with the tenant and once again did an excellent job. Both my tenant and myself are very happy! A fantastic company that I won't hesitate to use again in the future!

After the large hail storm we went through on September 24th, 2023 he have been bombarded with door knockers and storm chasers that use the most unprofessional tactics. Jason and his team at Matthew Lorand Roofing never disappoint. Last year, I reached out to get my roof repaired following the ice storm (along with most of Austin) and they responded quickly, with the repair completed quickly, effectively, and at a great price. Today I needed an inspection and photos for new insurance coverage, and once again received prompt and friendly service. Jason goes above and beyond every time, which is why Matthew Lorand Roofing is the only roofing company I will use.

I initially requested this company to seal up various raccoon entries on my roof as they were getting into my attic. They made 2 failed attempts and to date never sealed them. I have a family of new raccoons in the attics as I write this. I had another roofer inspect the roof, and found 11 potential entry ways the raccoonsl getting in, and they noticed that only 5 entries were supposedly blocked by wire mesh by Matthew Lorand. Even then, the entries that were supposedly blocked were not secure as the racoons have simply lifted up the wire mesh that was installed and managed to to gain entry. Totally useless attempt to block raccoon entries.
I also had a leak on the roof over the back patio. The first attempt failed and it was still leaking. After the second attempt, the initial leak was still there although worse, and there were now 2 other new areas near the original leak that were now leaking. Evidently this company not only did not fix the intial leak, but made conditiions worse as more leaks near this leak started occurring. I had another roofer inspect the roof and their job, who reported that what Matthew Lorand did was an absolute mess, and they referred to their repair as a ""frankenstein"" repair, i.e., a so-called repair that made conditions worse. Still leaking, only worse, and still raccoons, a family of them, in the attic. Matthew Lorand is in my view a horrible and useless roofing company. This company is in my opinion, totally incompetent, and in my case, made my roofing issues worse. I would strongly recommend not trusting the positive reviews, which are probably not real. I strongly recommend finding another roofer.

This was a very easy process. We've needed to have our roof replaced for a while. We reached out to Jason and he immediately helped us figure out what to do. He assisted us with insurance and our roof was completely covered. He communicated clearly and scheduled the replacement service very quickly even through the holidays. His crew was professional and worked quickly. Obviously, the roof pounding is never pleasant, however they finished the job very quickly and we are thrilled to have a complete and finished with this off our plate. Both a co-worker of mine and one of our neighbors recommended Matthew Lorand Roofing and we are so grateful they did. Manual Gaurdado, our Project Manager, and Erick Zuniga, the roofing foreman on the jobsite, were professional, honest, and reliable. Matthew Lorand Roofing worked with our insurance company to help us get the roof we needed, handled all of the documentation and paperwork for us and all we had to do was pay our deductible for the new roof. Once our claim was approved the team arrived within the week to install a new roof. The team did an excellent job from start to finish and the process was handled with the greatest professionalism. We had a hail storm hit our house in May 2022 and I had Jason out to inspect my roof based on lots of neighbors recommendations in Steiner Ranch. He advised that we have insurance come take a look at it based on damage he saw on the roof. Insurance ended up approving the roof replacement and he had a crew out replacing it in about a weeks time.

The roofers were on time and worked all day even in the 105 degree heat and the roof looks great. Any questions I had Jason would get back to me right away. I would definitely recommend Matthew Lorand Roofing if you are in need of repair or replacement!

I am very very satisfied with the work Matthew Lorand Roofing performed at the end of June 2022 in installing a new roof on my home with my insurance claim. With all the other roofing companies I interviewed promising me everything you can imagine plus telling me I did not have to pay my deductible which is a new Texas law that you MUST pay your deductible, just look it up TEXAS HB-2102 I did not know about this new law until they explained it to me. I never felt comfortable with any of the other roofing companies and what they we promising me. So I did my homework and vetting of other companies online and landed on Matthew Lorand Roofing and read the reviews and looked over Matthew Lorands website and was very impressed with their experience and knowledge of the insurance claim process. So I reached out to them and I talked with the owner Jason Joseph and from our very first meeting he brought insight into the process making recommendations and making other suggestions specific to my home's design and build rather than simply making the typical ""sales pitch"". The crew was on-time and paid careful attention to safeguarding my shrubs and outdoor lighting while completing the project on time as promised. Clean up was performed every day of the project and despite a small rain delay, they were finished in basically 2 days which was the original estimate. If you want the best in Austin I would highly recommend calling Matthew Lorand Roofing.

Jason researched a leak I had whenever we had driving rain. He and his crew provided additional flashing on my vents. When that didn't work, he caulked the water heater gas pipe.

Then we had a hail storm in April. Seeing all the newer homes (less than a year old) in my subdivision getting new roofs, I thought it best to call my favorite roofer, Jason.

He came out inspected my roof and took pictures of damage and recommended I file a claim with insurance. After all the research he had done with the leak, I finally received a new roof and haven't had any problems since.

He's a very honest roofer, you don't get many of them around these days. If you need a new roof, I highly recommend you call Jason at Matthew Lorand. You won't be sorry.

We've had such a hard time getting roofers to come out recently. With all the rain we're having this year, even a minor leak was getting urgent. Thank goodness for the Matthew Lorand Roofing company. They came out when promised, did a top-rate job on the repair, and the price was reasonable. The real test of a company is when something goes wrong, and we had a communication snafu -- which the owner did an excellent job setting right, right away. I'll definitely use them again.
