I'm giving them one star because of a very strange interaction. Sunny came out and looked at my roof and I thought things were going fine. We looked over the job site and he explained what would need to be done. It sounded like he had a very good grasp of the issue and things were proceeding well. However, before he left, when I told him I'd be getting several bids for the job he went very cold and said something like ""We're very busy so if you're getting other bids and just looking for the cheapest we won't work together."" Basically telling me that there was no point in any more discussion and he wouldn't work with me if I was getting other bids. He said he would talk to his son, but I never heard from him again even though I texted him a follow up asked for a quote.

I thought this very strange. Isn't it responsible, as a home owner, to get multiple bids? Getting multiple bids does not mean I'm going to take the lowest bid, I just want to be fully informed about how much this sort of project would cost. In this case Master roofing was the first company I'd engaged, so my reference to cost was minimal at that point.... Regardless, I'm generally going to go with the company I trust the most and am less critical of price unless there are some extreme differences. In fact, in another recent project I actually took the highest bid because I trusted they would do the best job. Isn't that the most important criteria? Getting the job done the best?

It was very frustrating (and strange) that Sunny acted this way and then ignored my very reasonable follow up text.

So if you're looking to work with them, don't tell them you're getting other bids. Or get other bids before you have Master Roofing come by so you are already informed.

Master Roofing did a great job replacing our roof! Danny was very accommodating to our requests . They gave us a very competitive bid and were able to start working and completing the job surprisingly fast.
I highly recommend them!

Mr Kwon has worked on both of our homes, and my Sister's house - reasonably priced, super nice, and does a great job! We had skylights in both homes, no issues, no complaints - highly recommend

We needed to do a roofing work on our house. Likely we came across with Sunny from Master roofing company.Among all 4 contractors his estimate was the best. He was the only one that never talked about down payment . The work was done Very well. His crews are very professional. I would recommend him if you need a roofing work.

My parents house was in desperate need of a new roof. Reached out to Master roofing on a Thursday they were able to get over the following day to quote the job. Beat out the lowest bid by $2000 started the job the following Monday and finished on Wednesday. What else can I say.. Their team was efficient and clean and for the job done.

Amazing Roof Job!!!

We had the pleasure of working with Master Roofing Company. We recently (end of May 2019) had our house roof replaced and could not have been more satisfied. Working with Danny with SO easy and pleasant. He was detailed oriented and made the whole contract effort painless.

The onsite workers were EXTREMELY professional, courteously, polite and maintained a clean work-site and the end of each day. The Project Manager; Tai Kwon stayed on site for the 2 1/2 days and would keep me updated with progress and any questions I may have. Tai was great to work with. The Dad (never got his name) would show up in the morning check on the crew and would always see if I had any questions or concerns. We enjoyed working with Master Roofing Company. We would use this company again and would recommend you and your company without reservation.
