This guy Shawn Summer is a con artist. Do not use them.
After 2 months, $2500 deposit and $1000 worth of materials bought, he has not completed the first project that he was hired to do and how now turned into a ghost. Two months of excuses and promises every week that he was going to the job and will be finished in a few days.
He will give you every excuse in the book. The most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with and the biggest liar you will ever deal with. He is the reason contractors have a bad reputation.
He told me he would start on 12/21/24. That did not happen. He would text every Tuesday to say ""I'm going back to working on your house today.""
This never happened, and then the excuses started.
The following is the list of excuses he gave me as to why the first of three projects had yet to be finished after 2 months of watching him and his buddies walk around my property and my home on my cameras.
-My wife's mother fiance passed away last week
-My phone is broken
-Can't get anyone to come to work
-I got kidney stones
-Just got tires back on my truck
-My truck is down, I'm going to trade in my motorcycle and truck to buy a new truck and finish your job.

Another update review. Supposed to do a window for me after game Shawn a 900.00 deposit. After 3 or 4 weeks and after telling me 3 times he was going to come and do the window and never showing I found someone else. Toribio Glass came on Thursday gave a quote ordered my window and was installed 9 days later. Shawn offered to return half of my deposit told he was coming over 3 times never showed. Now he will not answer my texts. What a ripoff.

Adding to my previous review. Got a quote 12/4/2024,paid $900.00 deposit. Told work would be done 12/19/2024 no shoe. Made a few appointments no show. Went on yelp and requested new quotes and of course yelp sent to contractors including Mason Contractors. Mason texted and said they would be out this Wed. I told them no. All the other appointments they don't understand I waited around all day!! On those days. So I guess I'm out $900.00. I don't recommend using them.

I can't say about the quantity of their work because he contacted me about the job promised to come out two times but never showed up. And then ghosted me.I won't do business with a company like that. All I wanted was an estimate. But got frustration.

Shawn Summer was quick to respond to initial posting and came to my home to give me an estimate. I called him back to make an appointment for him to do the work, and it took a full day+ for him to call back. On the day he was to do the work, he never showed up and didn't call. The next day he messaged through Yelp that he had lost his contacts in his phone but didn't explain not showing up. i responded but never heard back.
