I needed a referral for a roofing specialist so I asked a few friends and Derek was highly recommended. Now I know why! He answered my phone call immediately and was able to come out and access my problem that very day. Even though the roof itself was not the source of the leak, he still caulked the crack in the siding where the water was getting in. He even cleaned the leaves off my roof while he was up there. Not only was he very friendly and reasonably priced, he went above and beyond the scope of his responsibilities to help me. I most definitely will make Masada Roofing my go to roofer for anything I might need in the future!

We had some hail damage to an old roof, and had some leaks. We shopped around and read a good many Yelp reviews of local roofers. While I am sure there are many reputable roofing companies in the greater Austin area, I think we certainly picked a good one with Derek Foley and Masada Roofing. For starters, many of the roofers we talked to lost interest when we insisted on new sheathing (""decking"") under the shingles, making it a much bigger job. Also, Derek is very knowledgeable about the technical issues and he's very thorough. He was always very responsive, and showed excellent attention to detail. He helped us navigate the homeowner's claim because he had dealt with the insurer several times and they knew him to be a good roofer. The job was done promptly, and they left the place spotless, even running a big magnet around to pick up all the nails in the driveway and around the outside of the house. We noticed immediately that our a/c unit did not have to work nearly as hard as before. Oh, and the roof looks great as well.

We noticed water staining on our ceiling yesterday, and called the closest roofer in a panic. They reassured us and were able to come out within the hour to check it out. And because he couldn't find anything wrong with the roof itself, he didn't charge us, but referred us to a trustworthy colleague who specializes in light tubes (which turned out to be the actual problem). We really appreciated his prompt arrival and honesty, and will definitely use them in the (hopefully not too near) future when we have roof problems!

Derek and his crew put a new roof on our house in 2009. During the Memorial Day flood of 2015, our roof began a mild leak. Derek repaired it in a timely fashion without charging us. He came out to our house recently when we needed advice. He was very generous sharing his knowledge. He warranties his work, is always very attentive, courteous and professional. We highly recommend Masada Roofing!

We had a leak in our ceiling after it rained for a week straight and my first thought was I need to get the roof repaired. Derek picked up the phone immediately (after 6pm!) and came out within half an hour. He quickly identified that the problem was actually with our AC unit, but since I already had paid him $150 for a service call he offered to remove a satellite dish that my wife had been complaining about for free, so it was not a total loss. He also took me through the roof and the attic and pointed out some potential problems, some of which he was able to fix on the spot.

Overall extremely helpful and friendly, even though it turned out not to be a roofing issue I don't regret making the call at all. Would definitely do business with them in the future.

I can't help but be uber enthusiastic about this experience, which was my first.

Derek met me at my home, and did the survey of what was needed, and then we contacted my insurance company. He personally met with my claim adjuster when he showed up, and pointed out everything that needed attention. He spent extra time making sure we knew what was needed, and what will be involved with the repair. He even alerted me to get approval from my HOA to approve a slight change in color of our requested shingles.

So, I had my roof replaced today, and everything looks great! They even took the time to trim my tree so that it doesn't have the chance to damage my roof. Awesome job! The president of this company, Derek even took the time with me to review the job done, and made sure everything was A OK. Highly recommended!

Masada Roofing replaced our roof a few years ago and did a great job. Recently, some storm damage needed repair. I called Masada and Derek answered the phone, came promptly and made the repairs at a very reasonable cost.

We had a small leak during the recent Austin monsoon rains/floods, so we called Derek at Masada. Masada Roofing put on our current roof in 2009.

Derek returned our call and came out to look at the roof (and even caulked one of the joints) at no charge. The rains we had pushed an extreme amount of water in a short time. We haven't had any issues with the roof until this storm.

Called Derek last summer since I was getting solar panels installed to have him check the roof to make sure it was good for a while. The city solar rebates require a roof with at least 10 years like left I think. Was incredibly easy to work with, gave me a great detailed inspection and would definitely use him again!!

Hired Masada Roofing to evaluate my flat roof after a home inspector flagged the roof covering as at ""end of life"". Derek responded right away to my email request, came out to my house, and presented me with 4 reasonable options. After I selected asphalt roll, Derek worked hard to schedule the installation around our unpredictable Texas weather to ensure my roof would not be exposed to rain. I'm sure Derek manages many jobs simultaneously but I felt like I was his most important customer. We scheduled two days for the project but Derek's crew completed everything in one day! Very professional. Excellent work. Great communications and advice from Derek.
