Located in Shreveport, LA, Martin Specialty Coatings offers a wide range of coating services. We specialize in turnkey services for commercial construction and industrial facilities. Our services encompass roof restoration, resinous flooring, and a specialized coatings shop with liquid and powder finishes.

In 1946, Edward Martin founded a residential painting business named Martin Painting and Decorating. Mr. Martin led the company to evolve from residential painting to providing specialized coatings and flooring solutions for commercial and industrial sectors.

The name was changed to Martin Specialty Coatings, Inc. in 1976 to better represent the range of coatings available. In 1987, his sons took over the business, marking the transition to a second-generation family operation.

In 1992, we moved to a bigger facility to accommodate our expanding operations. Our product range grew to include shop-applied coatings during this time. In 2005, we expanded our services to include powder coating.

Currently, we serve clients within a 300-mile radius of Shreveport with our full-service coatings. Now a third-generation family business, we have more than 100 employees, many of whom bring over 20 years of expertise.
