Based in Shreveport, LA, Martin Specialty Coatings delivers complete coating solutions. We specialize in turnkey services for commercial construction and industrial facilities. We provide roof restoration, resinous flooring services, and a custom coatings shop with liquid and powder coatings.

In 1946, Edward Martin founded a residential painting business named Martin Painting and Decorating. Under his guidance, the company transitioned from residential work to catering to commercial clients and offering industrial-grade coatings and resinous flooring.

The name was changed to Martin Specialty Coatings, Inc. in 1976 to better represent the range of coatings available. In 1987, the company was passed down to his sons, establishing it as a second-generation family business.

In 1992, we moved to a bigger facility to accommodate our expanding operations. We also expanded our product offerings to include shop-applied coatings. Powder coating was added to our offerings in 2005.

Today, we provide comprehensive coating services to businesses within a 300-mile radius of Shreveport. As a third-generation company, we employ over 100 skilled professionals, many with more than 20 years of experience.
