This is a comment on their service. We re-roofed our entire complex 2 1/2 years ago with the GAF Golden pledge system using Kaufman Roofing. The system is an absolute fantastic product. However, Kaufman roofing leaves a lot to be desired. Our association spent about $500,000 re-roofing 24 buildings. When hurricane Ian went thru we had minimal damage to the roofs. We left multiple requests for Kaufman to come out and examine our roofs for damage. We said we were not requesting work to be done immediately, just a quick look. To date, a month and a half later we haven't received a phone call.

to work with. They showed up when they said they would. The roofing job was wonderful. They provided photos, cleaned up, and called to update us. I would highly recommend.

I would recommend that customers stay away from this company. They do not take responsibility for damages they incurred. They do not protect the property properly. They are difficult to work with.

We've needed roof repairs on several occasions during the past 10 years and have tried 4 different roofers. Kaufman was one of those and our comfort level was such the first time, that they were the only company we called for another emergency call. Post Sept 2017 hurricane, our interior ceiling was showing signs of water leakage in several concentrated spots. Kaufman were immediately on the scene and the individual surveyed the roof and determined it was leaking through one of the ridge vents (about 8' long). He explained that during the hurricane the winds were sweeping the rain sideways, hence the rain was entering the ridge vent sideways and seeping down into the ceiling. He arranged for repairs at a very modest cost and all was finished within a week.
He could just as well have stated it was time for a new roof (the house is 20 years old) since we have had repairs on several occasions. But NO, he was very honest and professional and told exactly what had happened and why. There is no question we will use Kaufman for all our roofing needs in the future.
A side note: on one of our earlier repair problems, we hired one of the ""bigs"" in the area. The job was very poorly done and resulted in water spilling over the roof edge directly into our lanai area due to the fact that when replacing the tiles, the worker extended them over the gutter. Repeated calls to correct the issue went completely ignored.
Go with Kaufman; good honest people, excellent workmanship.
