I will start by disclosing I am an estimator and project manager in construction. This should have been a 5 star minimum 4 star review at worst, well until it got worse. Based on a neighborhood FB page and yelp reviews I hired this company. They did my side fences with a gate for me and one for my neighbor on his side. They did a good job in 2 days, the yard could have been left cleaner but it was not egregious enough to complain. Needless to say I hired them to do my mom's fence. Again they did a good job in 2 days but did a better job cleaning as I said something about my yard to the owner, hence the almost 5.

Based on the signs he posted on our fences I asked about rebuilding our deck which he said no problem he showed me photos of a couple he did and I liked them so I said ok. We are getting a jacuzzi later this year and wanted to expand or rebuild the bottom deck and re-deck the floor on the top deck keeping original posts and siding which he said were good. This would also save me money as those areas were good. (He later tried telling me he told to me replace all new, not true). Well after opening the top deck I didn't like a couple of somewhat rotten joists so we decided to replaced all of them. Now they did a good job on the structure and reinforcing using 4x6 posts, with 2x6s and 2x8s. We're still a 4 or a 5 at this point.

Since the deck ended up being bigger than originally discussed we needed to add stairs on the new lower deck and I paid the additional. The last step was too high (see photo) and the young guys were in a rush to finish on Friday at 7pm after 3 days of work. I had to get on them to clean properly as if I was managing one of my jobs except I'm paying for this not working for him. They were not going to pull the stickers or staples off the boards. Sloppy cuts on the upper deck without a lip as there is supposed to be. I had to sand the NEW deck for 45 mins to clean their mistakes and probably will have to switch out the 2x6 with a 1x6 so there is a proper lip for rain drain off. They damaged one of my existing railings and my downspout. He never came back to address these issues after I asked for 2 weeks. I'm not going to keep calling and texting he got my money and he's happy with that. I would say for a fence they're ok but nothing else and really I would have been fine if he addressed the issues and gave me a credit for the downspout and damaged railing. But he ghosted me and I'm not going to chase him down for him to do a crappy, rushed, begrudged job so I'll have to do it myself!

Deck $6700 + fences $8000 = $14,700 and he left me like this! I had even referred him to a neighbor's who's roof I replaced, thank goodness he didn't go with him! My neighbor gave me 10/10 on my survey ;)

Tobias and his team were fantastic! They built our beautiful backyard shed and setup an iron security gate to keep our dog in the yard, and completed both projects in record time! They made sure to consider our neighbor's lawn and worked within the perimeters of our property. They also replaced any fencing that was removed to access our yard during construction. My mom needed a new gate and fence and Tobias and his team came out right away to measure and give us a quote. He and his team did a fantastic job. They tore down the old fence and put up the new one in one day! They cleaned everything up and the new fence is beautiful! It was a great job and reasonable price. A few weeks later, my mom had a leak in the yard which caused the gate to quick latching. Tobias again sent one of his guys out to fix it immediately. What a great team and very respectful of my mom and her property! I highly recommend!

Wow!!! I'm very impressed with Tobias and his team! I had a last minute decision to put up a backyard fence for the house before we move in my in-laws. Called couple guys, nobody can come in the same weekend to do the work for us except Tobias, AND with a better price also! His team showed up prompt and finished the work in one day!!! The fence looks great!!! High recommend!!!

My experience with Mandujano's Fencing and Roofing started out on a positive note. Initially the communication was good, the communication went down hill quickly and there were numerous no-shows! It took weeks to plan the installation of my new fence. I tried to be understanding, but again I was the one calling to find out when the work would be done because he was not communicating. When his crew finally came to do the work, I received a text in the morning saying his crew were on their way. I didn't even get a one day notice. I had visitors from out of town and I couldn't be home to supervise work because of his last minute text. I continued to use his services because despite the no-shows, poor communication, I liked the fence and I was trying to be understanding - he told me the rain caused lots of delays and he was short staffed. It did rain and I believed he would do a good job and so when it came time to schedule the stain job I received the same treatment as before - no shows, no communication, I was calling him to find out what was going on. Finally he sent an inexperienced guy ( I found out when I called Tobias at the end of the job that is fence guy was only a mechanic only a couple months ago) to paint my entire fence. The job he did was poorly done. I sent pictures to Tobias showing the inconsistent stain job and asked him to send me someone who knows what they're doing. He never came to look at the final job and I haven't heard a word from him. Overall, the price for the work was over $2K. For that kind of money I expected quality work. It was a half ass job. Spend your hard earned cash elsewhere.

They use cheap, poor quality wood, warping boards and splitting posts within weeks of install. Overpriced for poor quality and service.

They did a good job on the fence at a reasonable price. The owner is a man of his word. We were able to work out our differences on some issues. I would recommend this business to family or friends.

Another company started my fence & then after 3 weeks of very little working, walked off the job before it was complete. They left a 1/2 done fence that was poorly constructed. Mandujanos came in and saved the day. Communication and work was excellent & they completed the job in 2 days! I am grateful for their willingness to fix the problems & do it professionally & fast. Finally I have a fence & a happy dog.
