When my home encountered various leaks I went on the hunt for a roofing company. Saw a couple and decided on mainland roofing and let me tell you it was a great decision. From setting up the appointment to finishing the repairs everything went smooth. I would recommend them to anybody looking to do repairs or even a new roof!

I signed a contract with Mainland Roofing Company on 04/12/18 with Joseph Vasques which represented the company. I was told that the tile for the roof would take one month to arrive due to the tiles not being available and in back order due to the demand. After several delays and false commitments they started replacing the roof on 6/27/18. While they were removing the old roof the interior of my roof caved in. During the process of replacement of the roof on Sept 2018, Joseph left Mainland roofing. Many calls and text messages went unanswered and after three weeks of placing calls I called the main office. At that point Angie in the office told me that Joseph was no longer with the company. Mainland did not bother to call me and let me know that Joseph had left the company. The original tiles all came with stains on them. At this point, I refused the first batch of tiles and the tiles had to come off the roof and a new batch was sent. Joseph told me that it was a chemical that was not used correctly and that after six months of rain and sun the stain would come off. I did not accept that answer and asked for the tiles to be replaced. The second batch was sent and those did not align properly with the other tiles leaving an almost 2 inch gap with the other tiles. At this point I started to have conversations with Jose the owner of the company. He committed to replacing the tile with another tile made in Brazil. These tiles arrived in my house and then started another group of problems. They committed day after day to come an install the tiles. Weeks have gone by and the tile team has not come to place the tiles. I would call Jose every day and he would send me an automatic text telling me that he was busy and that he would return my call. The calls to this date have not been returned. I was frustrated and called the office and spoke to Anngie on 10/19 and told her how I felt and she told me that she would have Jose call me back. To this date 10/29 Jose has called me back after several calls on my end since that last call on 10/29. Six months later the roof is not completed and Mainland has been neglect in meeting the expectations of the contract as well as customer service.

If you want a headache and a full-time job following up with this company go ahead and use them.

We had Mainland Roofing come out in 2014 to fix an area of our tile roof. The area and the tiles that were repaired ended up damaged during Hurricane Irma. We called and received a quote to have them repair the same area of the roof and were given a date by when they would be out to complete the work. The date came and passed and we called back and were give other times that the company would come out to do the work. Knowing the repair is on the smaller side we were patient. After waiting over 2 months for service I called again to check in and they told me we did not authorize the work. I authorized the work for a second time and was given several dates that we would have our roof serviced. The company never showed up again. I have called several subsequent times and each time I am given a new date or told from scheduling I will receive a call back which never happens.

It is now over 3 months after the incident and my roof has not been repaired. Don't waste your time with this company.

I was not told to write this review. Found these guys in the Internet. From all the places I called, they had the best price.... And the be start was that I had to do my roof repair in 48hrs. They did it quick and performed an excellent job. They are so awesome they allowed me to even paid over the phone after the work was done. I am a ravin fan of the guys now and will use them in the future for sure! I spoke with a guy name Jose and he was the one who handles everything. Thank you Jose for getting me out of a bind!
