Very professional, felt like I knew him forever, very easy to talk to and he climbed on my roof, gave me the honest truth about what was going on. Gave an onsite price quote, and explained in detail about each picture he took of my roof. Now who you gonna call? that will arrive in a timely manner & show up with help just in case. I was trying to avoid posting this but Maddox Roofing filed a lien requesting money on my home for uncompleted work. His contract stated that he would be paid half up front and the rest when the job was completed. All pictures are from August 15/16 of 2019.

In an effort to try to help out a local company that had done roofing work for me in the past on my old home, I asked them if he could build a deck for us...he stated he could and came out to give me a quote and I paid the initial fee on June 25...he stated he could do the job in about 2 weeks. Now mind you I had no idea of the time frame for such a job...so I agreed with him. He said he would start July 8th...but then he got sick with the flu. So he didn't start at that time. He and another gentleman dropped off materials on July 18 and returned on July 19 to begin the job. They left that day and returned on the following Monday to frame the deck. Every time I asked him when they would return, he stated that he did not want to rush these types of jobs.

The contract stated that we had 3 days to cancel...unfortunately that was June 28th. He would continuously not show up, not tell us when he was showing up...do work at nights. I even asked him to not work at night and he and his pregnant wife still came out to work in the evenings. Every delay was due to his wife's baby appointments or traffic. One weekend he didn't even contact us after telling my wife they would be back the next day...then on the next Saturday, while we are out eating he calls and says he is there to work, which was two days after he was supposed to return. He stated that he had a stroke on that Thursday and on Friday he was spending time with his daughter but failed to call us to let us know.
On August 11 he and his wife argued with me and my wife where he stated that I was being a bad customer because I was not showing any concern for the fact that he had a stroke weeks ago...and always complaining about the time frame and issues we see with the deck. He also accused us of not wanting to pay him his money. Not one time did we ever mention money. The only thing we did was complain about issues we saw with the deck. The last time we saw them was on Monday, August 12 in the evening, leaving my home...and he did not even say he was done working. Nor did he contact me to say when he would be back...

On August 15 the deck was still unfinished so I sent him a text stating that a month had passed on this job and that we wanted him to cease working on the deck and to pick up his equipment and any materials. We would be out of town to move our child into college and did not want them working through the weekend without us there. He and another gentleman came to pick up the items on Friday August 16 in the evening, did not say anything to me and just left as they had done multiple times in the past few weeks. The next week I learned from the city that he wasn't registered with the City of Cibolo and also did not pull a permit to do the work.

I contacted another company who came out, pulled permits, got inspections, demolished the work that was there and rebuilt the deck to City code the way we had envisioned for over $2,000 less than Maddox had quoted us.

Maddox Roofing was professional, proficient and friendly. When I reached out I received an immediate response. We used them for some roof repairs and they were very quick to give us a free quote and were out here to complete the repairs within a couple of days. Excellent response time. We are in the process of buying a house. Wanted to get expert insight on the condition of roof. Mr. Maddox was great on the phone, polite and was very understanding of what we needed. He was able to take a look on the same day, and literally gave us feedback while standing on the roof (within hours of finding him on yelp!!!)
Gave us clear, simple guidance and really treated ud not as customers but as neighbors. Deff will do business with him!

Maddox Roofing did a wonderful job on my house, after the mess that the storm of Hurricane Harvey left my house in. Brady and his crew put on a new roof and repaired all of the damage that the storm did. house looks better than before the storm. he don't try to sale you something that's not part of the job. it was no pressure for me. and he's big on safety. that's because your job becomes a work site and he wants to keep everyone safe. after the crew finished the job, they cleaned the work site. I really like the job that this company did.

Maddox Roofing did an excellent job on my roof as well as some repairs and remolding in my home. Mr. Maddox was very professional, very honest and forthright with all I requested. I am very glad that we chose to go to this Roofing company. He came by gave us a free estimate, wrote up paperwork, and took care of us from beginning to end. We will call Maddox Roofing again for sure!

Agree 100% with other two reviews (which were not on line when I originally went with Maddox Roofing...if they had been my ""nightmare"" with this this company would not have happened). Brady Maddox will say anything to get a job then your TROUBLE begins. STAY AWAY from Maddox Roofing...it will be the best decision you can make!!! Once he has been paid for a job that you believe has been done correctly and problems arise he becomes totally unreliable, unprofessional and will not resolve the issue. He does not keep follow-up appointments, rarely will communicate with you and then goes totally missing and will not return calls or text messages. Have had to go with another contractor to resolve the problems cause by Maddox Roofing. In fact, I've submitted complaints to the Attorney General's Office, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and with my insurance company to insure Maddox Roofing is placed on a do not use list.

STAY AWAY! Do i have to give a star. He is almost like a scam artist, if you do have him make sure you're there, but dont' use him. He litterally lied over and over, poor job doesn't even describe it. And like the other person posted he or his crew leaves cigarette buds everywhere.
