We couldn't be more pleased with the roof work completed on our home by Maciel Roofing. From the time of our initial call to set up an appointment to completion, all went very smoothly. We had a 2 week wait until the job began which was fine. Peter was very courteous and helpful in helping us decide on our new roof and gutters. His workers were excellent, friendly and very neat. The roof was to be completed in 2-3 days and all was finished on day 3. They arrived each morning on time and worked the full day. The final bill was what had been quoted and his bid was very competitive. Our new roof adds so much to our home! Great job! We would highly recommend Maciel Roofing for your roofing needs.

Maciel Roofing did a great job in replacing my roof. The crew was prompt, professional and worked very quickly. Roof and gutters look amazing and honestly it seems like I have a brand new house. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because, although the team did a great job cleaning up outside, the attic was a mess. In all fairness, the fine print in the contract does state that cleaning does not include debris left in the attic. Turns out this can be done at an additional price. I did not realize this - had I been told while the work was being done that there was a lot of debris - I would have paid the extra amount to have it cleaned. That would be my one advice, to check and make sure that your attic is clear of debris as work is being completed so that you can arrange for cleaning if need be.

Other than that, the team was very, very good. Pete handled all the logistics of permits and inspections. His crew was very pleasant and professional. They replaced the roof on my garage as well and took the time to cover the items inside the garage with tarp so that they would be protected from the debris and dirt. Pete and his team also came back after the work was done to meet with the inspectors and make sure that everything was buttoned up and all issues addressed.

All in all it was a very good experience, and I would highly recommend Maciel Roofing. Thanks so much, Pete and team!

Maciel Roofing just finished a re-roof and new gutters for us and we couldn't be happier with their work.

To start Pete Maciel and team were VERY responsive when we first started getting bids for a new roof. They showed up to the roof inspection when they said they would, and they had a very competitive bid back to us in a few days. I can't understate how much this speaks to their professionalism. We got multiple bids from roofing companies and more than one company flaked or never bothered to send us a bid afterwards. Not Maciel Roofing... they were on time, punctual, organized, thoroughly answered our questions, and were competitively priced. It was a pretty easy decision to go with them.

The Day of the job a small army showed up at 7am (as promised) to demo the roof. They were careful (as much as can be expected) in containing the demo mess. They dropped plastic around the house and when they were done, they thoroughly cleaned around the house. (They did not clean up all the small stuff that falls inside the attic but they do warn you up front that they wont be able to contain all of the mess that falls into the attic... they just get the larger pieces.)

Maciel handled all of city permits / inspections and just tacked the permit expense on at the end of the job. No upcharge. Very convenient and fair.
The job passed all of the inspections and we get a ton of compliments from our neighbors on how nice it looks. We have referred everyone that's asked to Maciel Roofing and will continue to do so! They have earned their 5 star rating!

Maciel Roofing is AMAZING. I have never seen a more efficient, organized, and conscientious crew. From beginning to end, the entire process was clearly explained, the new roof looks wonderful, and the time spent cleaning up and making sure every last bit of debris was removed was incredible. They were even concerned with my neighbors' yards, making sure nothing had fallen on their property. On top of all that, they were less expensive than the other two estimates I got, both by people who were supposed to be ""good deals."" I'm so glad we found Maciel and will be telling everyone I know who needs a roof about them!

All I can say is....do not hesitate to contact Maciel Roofing for your roofing needs! Their 5* reviews are legit and well earned. We got a new roof for our split level house and they tore down the old roof, put the new one on (including making adjustments to fix a non-code conforming skylight), and cleaned up in ONE DAY. Came back the next day to check on the work and neaten up things. We were even able to stay in our house. I was blown away by their service!

It was a heavy rain on March 5th at my church, Living Faith Christian Church. The following day, as I entered the church, I noticed water had leaked in 5 different places from the roof. I panicked because water was leaking in ""Gods House.""

I called several different roofers & none were available! Then I remembered Mr. Pete Maciel installed my roof at my personal residence in Hayward, Ca 2 summers ago!

He immediately came, did an inspection & located the problem! He saw my emergency and made it a priority even with his full schedule! The following day, he came with 7 to 8 workers and repaired the roof.

Ironically, it rained the next two days, and there was not one leak in ""Gods House!""I was a relieved Pastor! His pricing was extremely reasonable and his customer service surpassed my expectations! I would recommend Maciel Roofing Company for any & all your roofing needs!
