Pete Maciel and his crew were great to work with! They were all very professional, timely, and quick. Our home had a very old wood shake shingle roof, and the team completed a full tear off and reroof in 2 days. They were very clean afterwards, cleaning around the house after both days of work. Pete is very friendly and helpful and always available to answer any questions. Very honest and upfront pricing, no surprises.

The crew was also very respectful of the current pandemic, always wearing a mask whenever we needed to speak in person, and mindful of keeping socially distant.

I will be recommending Maciel Roofing to anyone looking for a roofer in the future!

Maciel Roofing put a new roof on our home in Piedmont last Fall. When I solicited bids for a roof replacement I was shocked at what it costs to get a new roof! So I asked some real estate agent friends of mine for recommendations. One of the recommended roofers was Maciel. They were in line with the lowest bids we got and I had great confidence in the estimator, who obviously had complete knowledge of roofing. The job was done quickly and efficiently. I've recommended them to many people since then and they have been universally appreciative!

Really appreciate the very detail information from the beginning. Communication was great. They answered all my doubts and questions I had with no hesitation. Job was completed in a day. They had a nine Man crew. They even installed my sun roof. Love all the light coming into my dinning room now. Price was very affordable. I did compare prices with two other companies , and for the same work. Manciel Roofing had the best price. I honestly would recommend them.

Absolutely recommend these guys! We have a 2 story house and they finished in ONE day. That is including the gutters. They did a beautiful job.
We only compared prices with one other company but after going over the reviews decided to stick with Macielo. A house across from us obviously went with a cheaper company because there are only 2 guys working and it has been a week . They are still not done. Go with these guys!

This review is way overdue. I think Maciel did our roof two years ago now, maybe three. Was trying to figure out how to make a short review but never having had a roof done before I want to share the whole experience. Maciel was the first to respond, actually walked the entire roof and provided a quote later that same day. As other companies slowly responded (and maybe did nothing but a drive by) Maciel's was much higher. BUT he accounted for replacing much plywood which clearly needed to be done. There is always unknown but other quotes greatly underplayed it and when I asked for more clarity the quotes were comparable. So I went with the Maciel as they were the most responsive, upfront and honest. I felt like I wasted a few weeks for other companies to give me half ass quotes.

As far as the job itself, I have no complaints. It should have taken two days but since rain was expected later in the week, they brought two crews over and knocked it out in one day. Upon completion they walked the perimeter a few times to pickup as much scraps as they could. The 'unknown' fixes and additional cost was minimal and barely worth mentioning. Super job, it looked great and I went into the upcoming rain with so much confidence.

This was the biggest home maintenance cost I have had to date and I may have over analyzed options, but I'm so glad I went with them. I highly recommend Maciel.

When we purchased our home 22yrs ago we were told the roof was new, but had no paperwork indicating how new. During one of the storms earlier this year some of the shingles blew off. I called Maciel Roofing based on Yelp reviews and their Better Business Bureau rating. I am so glad I did. Louis came out to inspect the roof and could see right away the shingles were extremely worn. I talked to Pete and set the date to replace my roof.
Pete and his team showed up right on time. It seemed like there were at least 10 guys all having a job to do in the process of replacing the roof. The team was very efficient, installed my beautiful new roof, and were finished by mid afternoon. Pete had promised all debris would be cleaned up and taken away. My yard was spotless. I make tell my friends that my yard was cleaner after Pete's team left. I think some of the weeds in the side yard were cleaned up too. : )

Maciel Roofing was 1 of 4 different quotes that I requested for getting a new roof. They were very fast in communicating with me and to come out for an estimate. Their quote was the best I had received and saved me a lot of money. They were able to answer my questions and are very knowledgable about the different roofing options I can choose. They helped me decide on what is best for my house with the budget I had. Usually other companies quoted me a week for the job length , while Maciel roofing was able to finish our roof in one day! They started at 7am and was finished before 3pm! That included ripping out the old roof and putting a new one! What amazed me is that they even did the roof over my patio for free! It wasn't part of the contract and that really surpised me and shows what kind of a company they are. I would definitely recommend Maciel Roofing to all my friends and relatives!
