Just had my old roofing removed and replaced. M&R did a great job. They have a big team so things go quickly. They were able to do a few extra things I asked for. They even had to work around a period of rain, but it all went well, no leaks during the process. Certainly a company I recommend and would use again.

A employee from M and R Roofing came to our door to see if he could look for possible roof damages in spring 2016 that may be covered through our home owners policy from the recent storms. He did indeed find damages. It wasn't until September when the roof was replaced. While replacing the roof we had several damages to not only our roof but to our property and yard. They did fix the damages to our roof but continually missed appointments to address anything else. As late as December we were still addressing them to fix things. We finally were fed up and mailed them the remainder of the insurance payment. Yesterdays storm though uncovered yet another issue. We reached out to them to look at a leak in our master bedroom. Six-seven hours later a employee showed up and then looked at where the leak was, went on our rook and took pictures of our solar attic fan and proceeded to tell me that the rain was blowing up under the cap and then down in the cap and we needed to pay him $150 to put flashing around the cap. I ask him if they removed and reinstalled the fan when they put the new roof on, he said of course. I also informed him that in the 7 years we have lived in this home the fan has never leaked prior to the new roof. Very dissatisfied.

I lost some roof shingles due to high winds in Mililani so I was looking for roofers on Yelp & called about 5 of them. We wanted to go with the quickest possible service.

Mark from M&R Roofing replied right away & came on that same day to have a chat with us & to inspect the damage. He was very professional & friendly. Since this was in fact an insurance matter due to high wind damage, Mark walked us through the entire process of making the claim with the insurance company and it was a very easy process. We were also pleasantly surprised to see Mark show up when the insurance adjuster came 1 week later. These guys really do take care of you the whole way.

The roof work was done in 1 day with a crew of about 9 workers. They even removed all of the old double-layer shingles. It only took 2 weeks from consultation to the new roof being finished and all we had to pay was the deductible!

Dealing with insurance companies can be a very intimidating process so we cannot thank these guys enough! I've already recommended several friends.

While trying to land the job the sales staff was very good at returning phone calls. Once the job was completed the company was totally non responsive to numerous phone messages and emails. The work quality seems fine but will know more after a season of rain.

M&R Roofing owners: If you read this, our neighbors did not appreciate your work crew blasting music all day. It could be heard over an unreasonable distance.

Spoke to Roger Aug 2014 asking for a quote to install rain gutters for a new construction house. He said to email him the plans and he would get back to me. After emailing the plans, he said he would install gutters for free if we hire them to install the roof. After telling him I was only looking for gutters and asked again for a quote, he stopped responding. I guess gutters are not worth his time. Would not recommend.
