Zero follow through on their warranties. In October of 2016, I contracted with Lux Roofing Systems to put in a new roof at the home I own in Houston after some leaks had been discovered. That roof has become problematic. During the walk-through prior to the quote, I mentioned existing leaks as part of the problem. Lux's quote was reasonable and the work was done quickly and cleanly. Some months later, the tenants noticed one area was still leaking and a new leak had shown up and that the bricks in front had been damaged during the install. Of course, the leaks got worse when Harvey came through in Aug. 2017. Since then I have tried many times to get help. While they initially responded to my texts and a call they indicated they were busy with other Harvey emergencies so I was patient. Now, they are not responding to any method of contact and have not since Sept. 2017. And Lux has not responded through the rep at Angie's List who I asked for help. Per their quote, all the decking, trim and fascia were inspected and problems repaired at the time of the roofing so it ALL should be good. When I get a new roof I expect no leaks. They closed shop at old location and now appear to have this new location, I would not use them at all.

BUYER BEWARE- UNETHICAL Vendor- not worth doing business with! Thankful I just lost $300.00 to AngiesList BUT I will never work with AngiesList again and I would all others who read this to do the same or make sure you cancel your deal within 29 days if the vendor does not do what is right...
I talked to Tony yesterday he and I opted not to do the job based on miscommunication, price and job specs that was offered in the deal, (He tired to get more money from me and when he saw he could not he backed out...he took his time responding to me so he knew I would lose my deposit with Angieslist- this guys is a sc&%$!!! so be careful when dealing with him....again...Again...Buyer Beware.) More details... his team came down and measured and then when it came to do the job- certain areas of the house where then advised would not be done for it was over the 900sqft but his on-site team that came 2x stated to me it would be done. I am open for anyone else coming down and doing the measurements as well with me to show that all was within 900sqft. (we did agree to exclude the shed on the outside of the house.) In all the e-mails communicated did he never state that to me when doing the finalization of the job...after his team came down 2x to measure.

I sent all the back up snip it of all the times we tried to communicate and finalize the job but each time we ran into a new variable when we tried to execute.

Tony stated to me due to the miscommunication he would not do the job that you would refund my $300.00 back. AngiesList stated they would not. (In there defense it was over 30 days but I could show lack of communication and delivery from this Vendor.)...Angies List would not work with me on getting my money back so that is the last time I will ever use them and I would advise others not to use them

This company did a great job. They came out quick and fixed the job so my insurance wouldn't drop me. The price was very fair, I was expecting it to cost more but it didn't. The ONLY downfall I had was who ever I spoke with would say he would contact me back but he didn't so I had to call him numerous times to get some answers. Other than that they showed up on the date and time as they said and even let me mail in a check to pay. Very honest company and trustworthy.
