Called to fix some of the silicone flashing on my chimney flute for my house out in Albany, and they ended up charging me $650 for literally around 15 minutes of work. They then (imo) misrepresented the work as roof repair to justify the costs.

Overall, we were happy with the effort and I would recommend Lundy Solar and Roofing Co. Wyndon, Michelle, and team (""Lundy"") re-roofed (GAF shingles), upgraded the electrical to 200A, and installed solar (LG with Enphase microinverters). They did the legwork with the permits, interfaced with the county building inspectors, and performed the necessary activities (e.g. applications with PG&E) to get the system released and approved by PG&E. At the completion of the project, they provided us a binder with copies of the paperwork, permits and solar panel datasheets and drawings.

Note worthy things: Work progress communication; appreciate Wyndon following COVID protocols (also had a portable potty parked in front) and flexibility when the roofing inspector had a last minute cancellation; he was negotiable with our budget; he also threw in the roof ridge installation and additional O'Hagin roof vent without additional charge; cosmetically, he painted the stainless steel electrical roof conduit to match the roof shingle color.

Timeline wise. The de-roof took half day, roofing (with at least 6 guys on the roof) with 3 sun tunnel installations occurred on one day, electrical upgrade one day, and the solar install took 3 days. Scheduling PG&E work to disconnect the power took one month due to PG&E availability; inspections took days (I forgot the actual number) due to inspector availability; and PG&E application/system activation took two weeks (finalized end of 2020).

As an aside: CA requires signatories (btw consumer and solar installer) of the CA Solar Consumer Protection guide (https://www.cpuc.ca.gov/solarguide/) prior to signing a solar contract where it requires, for example, the consumer to get at least 3 bids. With taxes, we got a rebate from the government for solar installation.

My original installer went under. My inverter went bad and need to be replaced. Other installers, including some recommended in the solaredge website, were either too busy, or only work on their own customer installations. Lundy not only took on the job, but did it in a timely and professional fashion. Thumbs up.

Could not have been happier with using Lundy Solar and Roofing Co. We had our flat roof redone followed by solar installation and they did a fantastic job. Working with Wyndon and Michelle was a pleasure as they were always responsive, happy to answer questions, very professional and handled every facet of the process. Their workers were respectful and conscientious and the job site was always left clean and tidy at the end of the day. We would highly recommend them to anyone - you can't go wrong with both the value and finished product!

Wyndon and his team replaced our roof and installed solar for us recently. Everything went smoothly, from first contact til when they picked up supplies. They were really great to work with, communicated progress often, and worked with our schedules when they needed us. Great covid protocols as well - Wyndon always talked to us outside with a mask on. Everything looks fantastic and we're very happy with the results. Highly recommend them!

When our building needed a new roof, our homeowners association went through an extensive selection process before deciding on Lundy Solar.  Because it is such a huge expenditure, the HOA board spent a lot of time and effort interviewing companies, comparing costs, taking online customer reviews under consideration, and conducting meetings with the homeowners to make sure we were all in agreement with the decision.  End result - we have a new roof, and we're very happy with the work.  Wyndon and his team showed up in the middle of shelter-in-place, wore masks at all times, and were very respectful - a random thing to notice about service providers but this stood out in my mind.  Upon completion, there were a few problem areas that still needed attention, but the company showed up immediately and took care of it.  Both Wyndon and Michelle were super responsive and pleasant to work with.  Highly recommend Lundy Solar.

We are thrilled that we just got PG&E's approval to begin using our solar energy system installed by Lundy Solar and Roofing Co. We are also extremely happy with the roof that they replaced for us. Wyndon and Michelle were very helpful in providing us with the information we needed to undertake the roofing and solar energy projects. Everything went smoothly according to plan and was done very efficiently thanks to Wyndon. The pricing was competitive which was the initial reason we chose them but they also offered great work and service which we appreciate very much. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to anyone looking to replace their roof and/or installing a solar energy system.

Wyndon and crew did such an awesome job with our roofing! Helpful, respectful, on time and best quote of the four contractors we had come out. Very happy we chose Lundy Roofing/Solar. We hired Lundy Solar and Roofing to replace our roof this summer. They are very knowledgeable, thorough, and reasonably priced roofers. Both Wyndon and Michelle made the process of roof replacement very smooth, hassle free, clean and efficient. After the roof teardown, Wyndon identified several potential issues with existing structure and helped us protect the roof against elements. He was also proactive in suggesting some improvements that we signed up for because of his thorough explanations. Dealing with the permit process with city of Fremont was also a breeze.
