I just had LSDG replace my roof and re-stain my fence. My experience was nothing but great with them. The roof looks great, the fence looks great, and they negotiated with my insurance company to get the claim increased to cover the items the adjuster missed.
I also have a lot of sheet metal installed by a pest control company around the roof because of rodents that were getting in my attic. My pest control company told me to contact them once the roof was replaced and they would inspect and fix the metal flashing. They came out and inspected and told me ""you have a great roofer"" because all the flashing was put right back where it belonged and they didn't have to fix anything.
They will definitely be my go-to roofer from now on.

Just had these guys come to my door at 8:00pm. When I told them I wasn't interested, they threw their card on the ground in front of my house. Pick some who has a little more respect for personal property.

IN MY OPINION, and based on my personal experience, LSDG = LYING and DECEPTION! If I could rate with negative stars, I would.

This company has been a nightmare. Like another reviewer, I thought I was making a responsible choice by choosing a local roofing company. As it turns out, this couldn't be further from the truth. How these guys are still in business is beyond my comprehension.

To make a very long story somewhat short, I'll sum it up: I was assured, IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS, that they would complete the work for only the amount received from my insurance company. This was the EXACT verbiage that was used by Ron at LSDG, and was reiterated multiple times. Multiple times!!! As you can guess, they went back on their word and are trying to squeeze an additional $2600+ from me. They flat-out lied. Period. Not only are they trying to bully me, but they never completed the work for which they billed my insurance company.

To top it off, they have placed a lien against my house. Yes, you read that correctly. I intend to contact an attorney to discuss my options. I fear I will end up having to pay, as Ron's verbal assurances were not in the contract. (Bad on me!) I thought I could trust them, and take their word as the truth. Not so.

The grand total will end up being over $9k for a 1300 sq ft, single story, simple roof (shingles only!) on a 1971 low ranch style house. This alone should scare you away from this sad excuse for a business.

In addition, my neighbor has also had to threaten them w legal action, and is still also waiting for the job to be finished. It's been going on since March of 2016.

My opinion of this company and its representatives could not be lower.

P.S. Billy and Ron, you should be ashamed of yourselves!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will not care about you or your home.

If I could give this company a zero, I would. We started working with them to replace our roof, window screens, front door, and garage door due to hail damage. It has been a year and a half and the work is NOT complete. Here are the issues we had:
-They didn't install gutters around the entire house, which was promised when we paid the deductible.
-They didn't improve flashing over the bay windows, although that was promised when we initially started the process.
-They dented an exhaust vent on the exterior of the roof, which caused our heater to stop working because carbon monoxide was not able to exit the home. I
-They didn't replace the front door, which was another part of the project that the insurance paid for. They said they couldn't replace the door because the frame was rotted, which is entirely untrue. The truth is that they couldn't replace the door because the holes in the door they brought didn't line up with the holes in the door frame, and because the project had taken so long, the insurance claim was closed and they could no longer get additional funds to cover additional work necessary to replace the door.
-They showed up to replace the roof without letting us know they would be here, and we were out of town.

On top of all of this, I received my final invoice on February 22, then I contacted them on February 28th to discuss the problems, then on March 2nd I received a lien affidavit. Their work ethic is the bottom of the bottom.

We have always experienced excellent service and quality work! Located right here in Allen, they are always quick to get to a job and they also have crews that go out into the metroplex.

Original contact was great after our hail damage. Work seemed to be of good quality. Bill Mitchell and his crew seemed experienced and qualified. Now, just three-four years after work was performed, we have leaks in our roof and our paint job is falling apart. 3-4 years may seem like a lot of time after the fact, but they have a written guarantee of 7 years, which they greatly underscore in their sales pitch.

After many emails, texts and even a legal letter, NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. Very disappointed in a company we once trusted and recommended to many of our friends. My advice: Find someone else.

After working with LSDG on multiple projects on my house throughout the years. I am more than happy with the work and customer service that I have received. I first had a repair done on my house years ago then had to have my whole roof replaced after the April storm blew through town.

I know they've been in Allen for many years and I like to keep business local. If you're looking for an honest company, I would highly recommend LSDG.

DISHONEST, UNDERHANDED AND DECEPTIVE PRACTICES.

After getting quotes from three different roofing companies I decided to sign the contract to re-roof our house with LSDG Roofing. Unfortunately, I was the only party that was honoring the contract signed by both LSDG and myself. Despite the fact that our contract said all money will be paid in full AFTER satisfactory completion of the roof, LSDG repeatedly demanded that they be paid up front for the work!! At first, they were very subtle about it, then after delay after delay starting the project, I could tell that there was pressure being put on the salesman from above, so I spoke with the owner and explained why I would not pay up front (and specifically why that verbiage was in the contract) and he seemed to understand and agree...

The next morning I found out that they had attempted to circumvent me (and our contract) and contact the owners father in CA to attempt to get a CREDIT CARD payment - The father had no clue what he was talking about... Once I discovered the UNETHICAL attempt to get money from someone that wasn't party to the contract, going against their word and THEIR contract, I immediately contacted them to cancel the contract. I very professionally explained why this needed to happen, the owner decided it was time to insult me by calling me a few choice words prior to our parting ways.

I am not sure if there is financial issues going on there or what, but they used SHADY AND UNDERHANDED PRACTICES THROUGHOUT OUR SHORT EXPERIENCE WITH THEM - I WOULD NOT ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO USE LSDG ROOFING.

We paid a premium price for our roof thinking we'd be safe going with a local company but we've recently had issues with LSDG not wanting to honor their warranty. We discovered our roof was leaking and it took them over a month just to get a crew onsite to make any repairs. They seem to have lost the sales team and crews who we worked with a year ago. Bottom line they're over priced and cannot be trusted to honor their warranty. They tend to only communicate via email and seem to have an issue speaking with women. They have been very condescending to my wife to the point that I had to ask one of their representatives to leave our property.
