This company was incredible to do business with. I was blown away by the job they did. First, they always answer the phone even when I've called after hours. Secondly if it is after hours they always call me back.
The roofing job really blew me away by the attention they gave to protecting my personal property. Everything was covered up or moved out of the way with care. The roof was a big job and was done in just 2 and a half days. When I returned home on the third day I had a perfect roof and could not see any traces of they're having been there at all. I was so pleased.

Lovelace did my roof and my neighbors' roof, shortly after was it a coincidence that both homes were broken into during and the days after work was done. The work was not completed. The owner changed estimate and charged more. Replaced attic fan that worked fine with one that improperly works and continuely runs and they never returned to correct the problem. They removed satellite dishes and left hanging down on the ground with dangerous wire still connected. Over all poor job and after they were paid they were hard to contact if all.

When I originally called they were four weeks out for a repair estimate for a leak. I called three other roofing companies in Augusta and got no answer left a message and not one of them ever returned my call!!!!! The lady that answers the phone is so nice and helpful and kind that I went ahead and got on the waiting list because I am so frustrated with every other roofing company in this town! Obviously everybody else has enough business or doesn't care about their business but Lovelace answers the call!

Wish I could give zero stars...after spending 5,000 plus roof leaked in one bathroom and now the other one...worst job ever!!

I cannot tell you how their repairs are, because I could never get anyone to return my calls. The customer service is horrible, after 3 messages and an email I had to give up and move on with another company.

The reason for the two stars are: I asked Lovelace directly if they hired illegal aliens and they told me ""no."" I told them I want to support Americans and don't want to take work away from our local citizens.

A bunch of illegals showed up to do the job. It's a good thing I spoke some Spanish or they would have not understood me. They showed up an hour early too. I told them to stop opening the gate and that my dogs were in the back. I told them to wait -- in Spanish! They busted through the gate anyway.

In hindsight, I would have hired another company.

I gave Lovelace a five star rating because: I had them do my roof several years ago and they did an awesome job! The owner and his employees abide by the Golden rules. They don't cut corners and they stand behind their work!! The office staff and all the staff are first class!!!! I had a problem with water coming from behind my chimney. I called the answering service and got a call back within an hour. They sent a representative out before lunch to access the problems. He was very nice and knowledgeable of all aspects of roofing. The guys came to fix the roof were very nice and experts of their trade!!!!! I would highly recommend Lovelace roofing to anyone looking for a roofing company!!!!! Thanks to Tom Lovelace and his entire staff!!!!!!!

They replaced two pipe boots. Took about an hour and charged me $225.00. I would give them no stars if that was available.

They took my shingles off the house and then four days of heavy rain. The owner says "" any leaks?'"" They say they don't use subcontractors. The workers show up at my door wanting their money. I come home and two "" workers "" are using a pallet to get on the roof. They don't have a ladder is what they told me. My new siding was all scratched up. I called the owner who tells me that he will have to come by and look at that. He is a liar.

During a bad rainstorm last Sunday, we had problems with water coming in through the window in our dining room. It was as if someone had turned on the faucet. We weren't sure where the water was coming from, since there was another room upstairs. My husband suspected the roof, somehow being diverted into the wall. I called Lovelace because I saw their advertisement in our church bulletin as well as two other companies. Lovelace was the only one to give me a quick response. Steven came the same day to access our problem and gave us a reasonable estimate. His assessment of our dilemma was right on. He took pictures as he worked to show how the water was working its way into the house. He originally said he couldn't do the work until the following Monday, but he reworked his schedule so he could be here on Friday since thunderstorms were in our forecast for the weekend. He worked from 8:30 - 3:30 with one or two short breaks. He cleaned up all the debris when he was done. We appreciated him sending the before and sfter photos to see what was done. We just had another heavy storm today, and there is no water in our dining room! Steven is a great asset to his company, because we would definitely use them again, and recommend this company to our friends.
