Got scammed and the run around for nearly 2 months as they intentionally delayed me on a quote I was told would not expire at all for them to delay my financial questions until they could say the quote that they said would not expire did expire according to them and right in the middle of hurricane season as I waited on them and the day before the tax incentive expiration !!! Wasted my time & put family home in danger with their games. UNREAL. Can not believe I trusted them.

They advertise a good deal but then you realize that there are too many lies in the middle. Once you want to take a time to think about this important step they start putting pressure to close the deal. They say things like ""this discounted price is honored only if you sign now!"". In my honest opinion, this company acts like professional scammers.

Two star average review, why am I not surprised?
When scheduling my consultation I specifically said that only had one hour. They assured me it would be fast.
The sales rep Ricky was at my home for 2.5 hours. Most of the presentation was about him, being the #1 sales person, his son screwing him, him being the brother to f the owner of the company, him working for fun, his life, his home on the water and how they were better than others. I never saw a sample of their window but he brought a sample of their competition.
I get the song and dance but 2.5 hours ? After 30 min I knew it was going to be a waste of time.
After 2.5 hours I had to end it. He promised to send me a quote but I never received it.
I emailed him a few days later and never got a response.
I called the office a few days after, they told me someone would get back to me but no one did.
I called again 2 weeks later, spoke to someone who transferred me to customer service, then to someone else and was told someone would get back to me. Why is this so hard?
I then got a call from Ricky asking me what I needed. I replied, I need the quote! He said he would send to me and get back to me in an hour. Never heard from him again.
If the sales process is so inept, I would hate to do business with them, especially based on the reviews here and the fact they ask HALF the $ upfront.
What a total waste of MY time dealing with Lock Tight.
I just signed with another company that was able to quote me in no time, send me a quote in writing and gave me a start date for the work. And I didn't have to put 50% down.
I gave LockTight multiple chances to earn my business but they failed me . And they lost my neighbor too who was with me at the WPB home show where we met them .

HORRIBLE!!! EVERYONE IS YOUR FRIEND UNTIL THE FINANCE COMPANY PAYS THEM. NON REPUTABLE COMPANY. Project was never finished! Its been months getting the same excuse and run around blaming the vendor for messing up the order. In addition, they have cancelled appointments on multiple occasions without notifying anyone. Huge inconvenience, especially after having to make arrangements with work so i can meet the contractors. Not to mention, it took close to a year to begin the installation. Not too concerned about that as i am with the lack ownership and integrity with their projects. No one has had the professional courtesy to own up to their mistake nor apologize.

In addition, the attention to detail is poor. The 'Caulk or silicone"" they use around the border of the window frames is done very poorly and messy. The door frame was left with scratches and nails sticking out.

The damage control and completion department give you nothing but false promises. They never follow up unless you do. So if you have the time to keep chasing them to get a response, by all means do you. I wouldn't suggest this company to anyone. I had friends inquiring about the project but i have nothing positive to say about the workmanship and the lack of follow up from any of the company leaders. A SPIT IN THE FACE TO THE CONSUMER.. WASTE OF TIME!

Holy cow am I grateful that I saw these reviews before actually DEALING with this company. Reason for my review- I had an appointment scheduled at 2pm on Sunday to get an estimate on impact windows. The person I spoke with INSISTED that the homeowner (my uncle who lives in California) had to be ""present"" for the quote/decision making.
My uncle was not available so I called in advance to ask for a reschedule, which was for today (Tuesday) at 1pm. It is now 2pm and I've called the company reps about 5 times just to see what's going on. I got ahold of one person who just said ""management is in a meeting, they will call you back"" without any sort of apology.
What a huge waste of time and horrible customer service!!! Also 2:11pm as I'm finishing this review and still no calls or texts back. What a joke.

From the moment I signed the contract till the end of the project which is the final inspection it took 6 to 12 weeks... very fast!!! The quality of their product is the best of the best... the office staff is always willing to cooperate with you in every way. I had an issue with a missing piece and they handled very well and professionally, giving me all the assistance and support to provide everything we signed for. The installers worked like a well tuned symphony completing the job ahead of schedule, organized, and knowledgeable... I Recommend them 100% with my eye closed.

I feel as if I was robbed without a gun!
We were under a contract with Locktight to have our roof redone- mid-way through the job I was told an additional fee of $5,000 for ""extra wood"" was added to my bill. This was a lot higher than my ""contract"" amount stated.
This was a SHOCK to us! the additional expense is unexpected and not justified.
My husband and I are both retired, and we live on a fixed income. I would never recommend this company to anyone! I feel as if I was baited and hooked by this company. People beware!!!!!!!!!

Awful, Awful, Awful... Can't stress it enough. This company took 4 months to do my roof. They offer you a $125 gift card from Amazon so you can leave a 5 star review before they even begin their work. They failed the first county inspection because they didn't do things properly. I had to keep harassing them to finally get things moving. Terrible communication on their part. I hardly leave reviews, but this was too much. I truly suggest looking for a better company than LockTight Impact Windows, Doors & Roofing. They have an employee named Jeff, who harrasses you for payment (he sent me 15 messages in 2 days), something's wrong with him. In addition to that, we had to use a metal detector to pick up all the nails left in our front and back yard, over 500+ nails, and I'm not exaggerating. I would hate from someone to go through the same experience and that's why I'm leaving this review. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY !

Terrible experience . They brought wrong cheap doors. They installed it and ruined my house, and l should pay them because I signed contract. They also notarize my sign without me. Before sign contract check how many cases in court they already have. You will pay anyway. They have a good review because they pay $150 to write a good review. Beware .

VERY Bad experience. Don't use LockTight, there are many other options on the market that will treat you with respect and professionalism.
