This company does not follow homeowners rules. They drop off teenagers at gated communities with no trespassing signs and no solicitation signs to go door to door. They lie to you saying that they are doing a job in the neighborhood and wanted to walk around door to door to give out fliers. One of the kids was very rude to a resident who had to have security escort him out. I found another one and had him leave or I would call the cops.

I look at it this way. If the company cannot follow Hoa rules then how can you trust them to follow your instructions and follow thru with their contract?

This company carries a great product. LockTight replaced all my windows and doors with ESW, at nearly twice the price as local competition. They will not clean the windows after the installation. They did not give me a copy of my warranty info, contract, or permitting. They threatened to start litigation if I didn't sign the Certification of Completion for PACE financing before the final inspection. I would never recommend this company to anyone other than an enemy.

We signed a contract in March 2023 for a metal roof and a front door. They took down our gutters to do the roof in Sept 2023. I have called and left messages since October 2023 about them putting our gutters back up. No one never called back. The had a letter sent from an Attorney that was threatening to sue us because we would not release the final payment because the job wasn't completed. We eventually released it. The communication is ridiculous with this company after you sign the contract. The rudeness that some of these employees display is appalling. I reached out to another company on Jan. 1,2024 about putting my gutters back up and that is when we discovered that our metal roof wasn't completed and still had shingles. I contacted the city Inspector and they came back out on Jan. 2, 2024. They then opened back up the permit and changed the final inspection to failed. They reached out to Billy Shapiro and left a message and he has yet to respond. I will be making a formal complaint with DBPR and will take further actions to hold them accountable if needed.

It started as a nice project. We were convinced that this project was going to be the best decision of our lives, that is why we choose Locktight impact windows and doors, team Locktight offer us that We will call them as a happy as we can be with that job . We thought we make it a good deal with them with cost and with Service. But little mistakes they made turns to un comfort because they were never e polite and admire mistakes and even more, they never contact us back for those mistakes they have done.

This started when they came in for installation of windows and the doors , this happens in August 2023 in the installation we got problems because they broke some window seals, The door was the wrong color. They took a lot of hours to try to put the doors. At the end, we didn't have our right color door, and the other door was not set up well. They uncomfort came with customer service no calling back no answers no one give us a call back. After 12 weeks of waiting I decide to call them. They never got the answer always given an attitude instead of recognizing that they made a mistake. The mistake wasn't that big. They just have to fix the doors and set up the right color but they make me feel like maybe I will forget about the door and I will never call them back. They were very concerned when the bank was calling to sign and give them the money they were making sure that everything will be fine until they get received the payment of the bank as soon as they receive the payment of the bank They never contact me back for the door. It has passed already 12 weeks. We haven't contact us about it so I decide to call them, however I had the feeling already about that., probably I will forget about this little problem.Your customer service was horrible. I have a spoke with a lot of people there, and nobody gave me an answer. I spoke with with Jaime who has a very poor answer, saying that she's only in charge of the permits. However, she put me in hold when I ask her with whom I have to talk. She put me in hold for 30 minutes never answer the phone I decide to call back and then Dan answer the phone. Dan says that he doesn't have an answer because he's only the receptionist then they transfer me to Cody. I sent him a voicemail again no answer, I decide to call again and no answer, this si already call number 5, Then finally Ken gave me a call he gave me an attitude and he has the nerves to say that maybe no one was calling me because I have them actitud, and if I continue telling my concerns, HE WILL ENDS THIS PHONE CALL! So then I told him that this will look great when I gave my concerns and reviews, his answer was: I do not like to the threat , I told him this is not a Threat, I am tell you you that I hope more people read this review so they do not do business with you.. Of course I don't want nobody passed the same experiences were passing however, let me tell you, Billy call me back and he was nice. He told me that he will try to fix things that the door will be here again in six weeks so it been passed already 18 weeks. Of course I am frustrated things are not the way I pay for.
I I have read all the reviews about them and we are constantly saying the same things. Poor customer service. No one is contacting us when you have a problem the service and the installation are really poor.
I hope my experience does help somebody else, so they cannot pass the same uncomfort and passing right now next time before you agreed the payment make sure you have everything they promise they will have for you.
I have read also that they offer you money to remove the review.
I will wait 6 more weeks that it will turn to 18 weeks to they bring the right door.

The crew that came to my house was great. The were very friendly and professional and did great work. I am very happy with them.

Their finance department is horrible. I had an issue with one of the guys in the department repeatedly calling and harassing my wife to sign an agreement before we had time to read it. I badgered her and threatened legal action while I was out of town.

The sales team takes advantage of prospective customers by not telling them everything. For example, when describing the process of replacing the windows, the sales individual went into great about how careful and clean they are and they replace all the wood with high quality pressure treated wood. They did do this but they on purpose leave out the details that they will destroy the interior frames and window sills and it its your responsibility to have them fixed. I'm sure these facts are buried in the lengthy contract and hard to find. Much like the Apple terms of service. We now have beautiful new windows with dilapidated frames and window sills. When I signed up to get my windows replaced, I signed up to get my windows replaced.  Not get them replaced AND have everything else ruined so that I now have to replace them through another vendor.

Installing hurricane windows is a one time thing that most have not done before.  LockTight is aware of this and preys on your ignorance of the process.

I am very happy with the actual team that did the work and the actual product of the windows and doors. I am not happy with the sleaziness of the sales team. My goal here is to inform potential customers of the true process and results of getting new windows so that they can be prepared and not taken advantage of. Please use the fact that you will have a lot of expenses when the project is done to get your home looking the way it did before the windows were installed. Please use this information when negotiating your rates. This is way too expensive of a project to leave your house looking worse than it did prior.

After talking to a few companies I felt this was the best fit for my project and budget. Product arrived 2 weeks ahead of schedule and was lucky to get it installed immediately. The install crew that work on my project was professional, quick and I was happy to see they were very detailed oriented and careful with property. Any job like this comes with lots of dust and they tried their best to keep it as minimal as possible and cleaned up great. I don't have the name of the crew but I'm thankful to the team. Communication after placing order and measurements can improve in order to schedule time off. So far noise and heat reduction have been great, I hope the same with storm safety.

If you are thinking of using this company read the reviews, they are not rants. After 2 months since they began this project I am still waiting for them to finish. My windows retain water and dont drain(pictures). Failed inspection once already. Communication as to the status of work is practically none unless you call. As far as the gift cards yes they offered to leave a 5 star review in the first day they arrived. They left the 2nd day and have been sporatic since. Wrong color posts for countertop sliders, we can go on and on

Wish we could actually give 0 stars. This company tried to pay us off to take our reviews down - offered $250 if we signed an agreement to remove all negative reviews. They were quite aggressive trying to get us to sign this agreement that my husband said we would sign if they made things right. They came back with an offer of $500 to sign. It was a, ""sign this agreement before we fix everything"" kind of offer. Of course they would disappear after signing.

We asked for very specific repairs - fix the locks on our windows and provide the new spring they said they ordered a year ago. The ""new"" spring didn't fix the problem they said it would fix - it still has too much tension to close the window easily and lock it. And the window locks still catch and are nearly impossible to close themselves. We have to keep them locked because it's such a pain.

And now we have another issue of all the caulking receding. We discovered an area outside where the caulking seems to have never dried and is spongy and wet feeling! $500 won't cover the cost to have another reputable company come fix these issues. It's really laughable when you consider how much we paid them for a terrible job.
