We have just finished having our roof replaced by Linear Roofing. We are very satisfied with the quality of the materials and service provided by the Project Manager .Jesse Borsheim. Jesse was informative and helpful throughout the entire project. All questions or other issues were taken care of quickly. I was impressed with his performance.
To explain we were planning on replacing our roof but had not contacted any roofing company's. There was a knock at our door and Jess offered to fly his drone around our roof and assess it for damage or areas of concern. Also, no cost or obligation for the service. My thoughts were it's free there is no one walking around the roof putting dents or causing damage to justify need for repair or replacement.
When Jess was done with his drone flyover he said we did have hail damage. He said he would email me the report. We reviewed the report and I had further questions and invited him back. We talked about damage, material used, under-layment material and cost. I even had questions about a metal roof. Material was GAF brand or IKO brand shingles. Both are quality material. Cost was about what I had estimated after research online. Due to the hail damage Jesse suggested we make a claim to our insurance Co. We did and it was approved. Pleasant suprise.
When it came to color of shingles, there were samples. We felt it would be worth it to ask for some roofs that had bee done in the area. Jesse provided us a list of at least 84 homes completed by Linear Roofing in our immediate area in the last 6 months. We had decided on 2 colors and were able to drive around and see a few houses with the colors we liked. Since we had the address I was able to look up the owners online and call them and ask if they were satisfied with the work. All said yes and had no problems recommending Linear Roofing. Big plus for Linear.
Soooo! We were scheduled for work and Helene was due in two days. They had the shingles and material removed from the roof. After material was put back up and work completed 5 days before Milton. Had some strong winds but roof was fine. Cleanup after job was very good.
IOf note had a local roofer give me an estimate for the job just to be careful. Price was lower but did not include several material upgrades. Which could be included for additional cost.

Awful company they only want your money. They were hired to redo my roof. They did partial of the work and I found out because this last hurricane we had here in Florida my ceiling in the back room began to leak. I contacted Daniel, my poi t of contact and they sent someone out a few days later. This guy already knew they didn't replace that part of my roof and it is attached to my home. The guy came down from the roof and said we didn't replace that part. I said why , what do u mean it's part of my roof?! No explanation. I co tasted daniel.again and this is when he said "" I told you we do t do flat roofing "" I said you absolutely did NOT tell me that and why would I ever hire a company to do half the work?! They never responded to any mor of my calls. They also never replaced the flashing on the back of thebhouse and left a huge 4-5 inch gap where water was coming in. I had to hire and pay for a contractor to come and seal it properly bc Linear decided they would come and add a huge amount of calk!! Horrible company and very deceptive!

Terrible company that walks door to door trying to strong arm you into getting a new roof by defrauding your insurance company. They keep returning to your house again and again even when you tell them NO. Avoid them at all cost. A real hack outfit.

I cannot complain about the quality of work that Linear did; it was truly outstanding. They didn't clean up the nails in the yard as they promised, but that was an easy fix on my part, so I give them an A for the work they did.

My problem with Linear is either their dishonesty or incompetence; I am not sure which. But I was promised by the representative on three separate occasions that I would not have to pay a dime after the initial high amount that they charged me. In fact, without any notice to me (they may have submitted a supplemental to my insurance company, but I have no idea if they did or did not) I was sent an additional bill of $9,400. There was no explanation that I could understand, soI forwarded it to my insurance company and they assured me I would not have to pay another dime either.

So, I left in between Linear and my insurer. The next thing I know, several months later, I get a threatening letter from Linear to pay the $9,400 and that a lien was put against my house. I will not detail the ineptness of their staff, giving us and my insurer the wrong contact information and not following up; suffice it to say that in the end, in order to avoid a legal hassle, I had to pay the $9,400.

I would never use this company again and would never recommend them to anyone.
